Well, I have some analysis output in 3 dimensional array form.

A B C D
1 2 3 4
1 2 3 4
, , type2
etc.
This array is very big. and I want to export this to either text form or

Wikipedia plots and tables?
Hello, All:
What facilities exist for plots and tables of data in the
standard MediaWiki software beyond the obvious standards?
The standard MediaWiki tables and graphics capabilities seem to
me to be rather clumsy, and I wonder if I'm missing some available
extensions?
The standard MediaWiki tables are described in a Wikipedia
article on "Help:Table".

How can I change the localSID for a SAMBA Server?
Hi Rowland,
We need to change the SID on a standalone server because it needs to also
act as a File Server. The authentication comes from LDAP, and we have
existing entries in LDAP for SID of the domain. Instead of change all the
SID in ldap, we would like to be able to change it on the server.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Byron

OLPC project
The One Laptop Per Child project is now including a digital camera in the design of their "$100" laptop computer. According to their latest news, this device will record video at 30 fps and at VGA resolution. Also, the OLPC project is considering using content from WikiMedia, and video files at WikiMedia are stored in ogg theora format. Have folks involved in the OLPC project

Who's developing mwEmbed?
Recently I found out about mwEmbed[1] which seems to me to be a great tool to
embed theora videos with a fallback mechanism in place and a really smooth
user experience.
Since I am testing the tool for use in my blog and other websites at the
moment I would like to know who is actually developing that tool and where to
report bugs. (e.g. it doesn't work yet in Opera 10.50 which is a

cwilcox - new version
I am a newbie to C (although I did some programming in Perl and Pascal) so
forgive me for the language that follows. I am writing because I have a
question concerning the *implementation of *(the internal function)*
cwilcox* in
https://svn.r-project.org/R/!svn/bc/81274/branches/R-DL/src/nmath/wilcox.c.
This function is used to determine the test statistics of the
Wilcoxon-Mann-Whitney U-test.

Instant search for R documentation
Hi,
I just wanted to share with you that we made a website over the weekend that allows "instant search" of the R documentation on CRAN, see: www.Rdocumentation.org. It's a first version, so any feedback/comments/criticism most welcome.
Best regards,

Other extension for Ogg Theora then "ogg"
Hi,
The standards for audio and video to be used by the Wikimedia projects
(like Wikipedia) are Ogg Vorbis and Ogg Theora.
The use of Ogg Vorbis files is growing fast. For now the use of video is
still very limited.
The problem is that an audio and an video file looks the same because of
the same file extension. This is very annoying because you do not know
what for file it is when you look at

Old Cortado bug reports

three years ago Cortado found its new home xiph.org (as per

mass conversions
I'm working with Wikipedia projects, and have several thousand small
sound files to convert from .ra to .ogg Vorbis. (The wikimedia commons
accepts *only* Vorbis sound files, iirc, and the Wikimedia Foundation
strongly supports the open standards.)
The problem is, I cannot find a conversion utility for total newbs on
OSX. Probably I just don't know where to look. Can someone suggest a

fill map with gradient: package?
Hi,
I'd like to fill an existing svg (or png) map with gradient colors.
In detail: The file
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Karte_%C3%96sterreich_Bundesl%C3%A4nder.svg
should be filled with the population density data from this table:
