On automatic MAC selection in OpenSSH_6.7p1 + OpenSSL 1.0.1k
Dear All, I am writing this email because of some observed strange behavior of ssh. I think this is some sort of complement of the issue that was discussed in [1] ([2, 3, 4, 5, 6] were related to the issue). Long story short, I have a client and a server, both running the latest raspbian jessie with all the relevant updates in two different countries (i.e. both OpenSSH_6.7p1 Raspbian-5+deb8u2,

latin hypercube sampling
Hi all, I am attempting to use latin hypercube sampling to sample different variable functions in a series of simultaneous differential equations. There is very little code online about lhs or clhs, so from different other help threads I have seen, it seems I need to create a probability density function for each variable function, and then use latin hypercube sampling on this pdf. So far, I

saving vector output as numeric
Hi everybody, I'm trying to create a numerical data frame on which to perform PRCC. So far I have created a data frame that consists of function/vector output that displays in numerical form, but when I try and run PRCC (from epiR package) I get the following error message: "Error in solve.default(C) : Lapack routine dgesv: system is exactly singular" It appears this is because

ZFS Boot Won''t work with a straight or mirror zfsroot
Using build 70, I followed the zfsboot instructions at http:// www.opensolaris.org/os/community/zfs/boot/zfsboot-manual/ to the letter. I tried first with a mirror zfsroot, when I try to boot to zfsboot the screen is flooded with "init(1M) exited on fatal signal 9" Than I tried with a simple zfs pool (not mirrored) and it just reboots right away. If I try to setup grub

Error with epiR and sensitivity
Hi everyone, I emailed yesterday thinking I had a problem with reading matrix information as numerical output into epiR. After working on the data frame today, I realise it's a problem with the data itself rather than the syntax. SECURITY: vulnerability in sperl
Red Hat Software has been notified of a critical security problem (a buffer overrun) in /usr/bin/sperl*. As no official fix for this problem exists, we recommend turning off the setuid bit on /usr/bin/sperl*. As far as we know, this problem affects all platforms and all versions. As soon as a fix is available we will release a new version of the perl package and announce it here. If no fix seems

Feature request: FQDN Host match
Hello! I'm hoping that Gmail won't HTML format this mail so that I'll get flamed :) Anyway, my question relates to ssh_config. The problem I find is that the Host pattern is only applied to the argument given on the command line, as outlined in the man page: "The host is the hostname argument given on the command line (i.e. the name is not converted to a canonicalized host name

[RFC] treewide: cleanup unreachable breaks
From: Tom Rix <trix at redhat.com> This is a upcoming change to clean up a new warning treewide. I am wondering if the change could be one mega patch (see below) or normal patch per file about 100 patches or somewhere half way by collecting early acks. clang has a number of useful, new warnings see

[PATCH 0/7] I/O bandwidth controller and BIO tracking
Hi everyone, This series of patches of dm-ioband now includes "The bio tracking mechanism," which has been posted individually to this mailing list. This makes it easy for anybody to control the I/O bandwidth even when the I/O is one of delayed-write requests. Have fun! This series of patches consists of two parts: 1. dm-ioband Dm-ioband is an I/O bandwidth controller implemented

[PATCH -next 000/491] treewide: use fallthrough;
There is a new fallthrough pseudo-keyword macro that can be used to replace the various /* fallthrough */ style comments that are used to indicate a case label code block is intended to fallthrough to the next case label block. See commit 294f69e662d1 ("compiler_attributes.h: Add 'fallthrough' pseudo keyword for switch/case use") These patches are intended to allow clang to
