Eventmachine utils
I''m working on StrokeDB* right now and put pieces of networking stuff into a separate repository "Eventmachine utils". There are 3 useful libs already: protocol chaining, messaging protocol and marshalled messaging protocol. Check them out :-) Overview: http://gitorious.org/projects/eventmachine-utils Files:

Matching username in ssh_config
Hi all openssh devs out there. I have quite a few Host-stanzas in my .ssh/config to keep track of all the different settings and credentials needed to access all different hosts I connect to. Now I have ran in to a problem where I need to switch settings based on what user I'm trying to login to a host as. A simple case is: ssh -i rootkey root at host123 vs. ssh -i userkey username at

IdentityFingerprint feature request
The IdentityFile config (or -i argument) lets you insist on (or prioritize, at least) a particular key file on disk. The key can be retrieved from ssh-agent without decrypting the file on disk, but it must be found at the specified path. I have a use case in which keys are added to ssh-agent on a forwarded connection, but are not present on disk locally. There is currently no way to refer to a key

IdentityFile vs IdentitiesOnly
Hi folks, I've got a moderate number of keys in my ssh config file. Problem: Very often I get an error message like Received disconnect from 2001:db8::8077 port 999:2: Too many authentication failures Authentication failed. AFAIU the ssh-agent is to blame here, trying out all keys he has ever seen. This conflicts with MaxAuthTries 6, set by default on the peer. The solution seems to be to

[PATCH] Add user-dependent IdentityFile to OpenSSH-3.0.2p1
Here is a patch to allow private key files to be placed system wide (for all users) in a secure (non-NFS) mounted location on systems where home directories are NFS mounted. This is especially important for users who use blank passphrases rather than ssh-agent (a good example of where this is necessary is for tunnelling lpd through ssh on systems that run lpd as user lp). IdentityFile now accepts

[PATCH] gfxboot.c32
Ok, here is the first try to turn the gfxboot wrapper into a com32 module. I had to extend the interface to the gfxboot core a bit to get it working. So it works only with latest gfxboot from git://gitorious.org/gfxboot/gfxboot.git Steffen -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... ssh-agent and IdentityFile
I've noticed that the ssh-agent applies any keys it already has passwords for (via ssh-add) first, overriding the ssh config files for preferred identity file from .ssh/config and -i. This seems a documented behavior. However, this causes problems with some tool chains that use the authorized_keys command directive to change behavior based on which key is used. In my case, I use gitolite for

[LLVMdev] MC-JIT
Together with Jan Sjodin (in copy of this email), we begin an implementation of the JIT with MC. The idea, suggested by Jan, is to develop a MCJIT in parallel of the current JIT and to keep the two implementations until (at least) the new MC one is mature enough. Currently code is kept on gitorious (http://gitorious.org/llvm-mc-jit/llvm-mc-jit). Following this, a boolean "bool MCJIT =

Public reposurgeon repo
There is now a public reposurgeon repository at: git at gitorious.org:reposurgeon/reposurgeon.git I've tagged 2.0pre9 there, for two purposes: * Charles can verify that I've solved the missing-files problem. * Hartmut can rework the few of his patches I didn't merge into reposurgeon. Charles, our next and final challenge is to generate proper merge commits in the NUT repo

Alioth Subversion repository freeze
Dear developers, thanks to Charles (Lepple) and ESR hard work, we are now able to finalize our migration from Subversion to Git, on Alioth. As of now, our Subversion repository on Alioth<https://alioth.debian.org/scm/?group_id=30602>is FROZEN! Any new svn commit may simply be discarded, so beware! Most active developers are currently using github, as a temporary mean. But if you have any
