LNT General Failure
Hi Renato, We're also seeing this on internal bots. My first guess is that it was triggered by the Flask package getting updated at Pypi on 29th of May, see https://pypi.python.org/pypi/Flask. I haven't investigated further at this point. Thanks, Kristof On 29 May 2016, at 14:28, Renato Golin <renato.golin at linaro.org<mailto:renato.golin at linaro.org>> wrote: Folks,

LNT General Failure
Renato, Kristof, I confirm this is due to the latest Flask --- Flask-0.11 was released this weekend --- and for some unknown (to me at least) reason, although LNT's requirements.txt pins Flask to version 0.10.1, pip installs Flask-0.11. Forcing Flask to 0.10.1 gets the situation back to normal. Reading pip's documentation makes me think it's not able to resolve dependencies

I think that will work. We should actually fix it to work with .11. It is a dot release, the changes are minor. It seem like it does fix the issue: http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-ppc64be-linux-lnt/builds/4405. I agree with making LNT work with .11 too - but I'm not familiar with the part of LNT that has this dependency, so someone else may have to look into that. Test-suite bots red because of missing import
Hi, There was a new Python setuptools release (36.0.0) today, that caused this compatibility issue. The suggestion to stop breaking the builds is to add a static setuptools version on lnt's requirements.client.txt. The latest known compatible version is 35.0.2. I have tested it building a LNT sandbox and it seems to works. setuptools==35.0.2 I'll create a bug on LNT so we can

I honestly do not know how to fix that --- I would otherwise I've committed a fix. I've been able to hack it locally exploiting the very same lit limitation then the one we're stumbling on (i.e it does not resolve dependency correctly and only pick-up the first constraint). You need to make sure the Flask constraint is seen first, even before using the requirements.txt so on the

LNT on pypy and documentation build

[LLVMdev] http://llvm.org/perf/ instability: some clues
Daniel, Tobias, Renato and myself have been looking a little bit at the potential underlying reason for why http://llvm.org/perf/ is instable, and have found some clues. I want to share them here to give people with more experience in the frameworks used by LNT (flask, sqlalchemy, wsgi, .) a chance to check if our reasoning below seems plausible. Daniel noticed the following backtrace in the

[LLVMdev] Proposal: REST and Ajax in LNT
I think it would be super useful to give LNT a RESTful interface. As LNT grows, it would be nice to be able to update some of the pages with Ajax(or json). Especially for pages with long load times, it makes sense to be able to speed up load times, by fetching the data after page load. It would also allow us to build more dynamic pages, and allow non-web clients better structured access to LNT

Test-suite bots red because of missing import
So, in the end looks like this setuptools 36 was deleted from pypi. There is an issue [1] open on setuptools. I can confirm by trying to force to install this version: $ pip install setuptools==36.0.0 Collecting setuptools==36.0.0 Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement setuptools==36.0.0 (from versions:<many version numbers>) No matching distribution found for

I threw all the sanitizers I had access to on this test and didn't find anything. The merging uses threads so I can't rule out nondeterminism. It's strange that it only happens on ppc64le and only on stage 2, so an actual miscompile wouldn't surprise me either. Hi all, It seems some of the test-suite bots are red because they can't find the six module anymore. I looked at this a bit a while back when you first asked but I didn't see anything obviously wrong. Benjamin, at least one of the referenced failures was on BE powerpc64. I don't remember if that one (http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-ppc64be-linux-lnt/builds/4883) failed on stage 1 or 2 and the results pages are no longer available. BTW, I tried testing the same revision many
