[IMPORTANT] Mailing list Move & Downtime (Tuesday, August 4th)
On August 4th (~9AM PDT, exact time TBD), all LLVM related mailing lists will move to a new mailing list server and will change to listname at lists.llvm.org. LLVMDev will probably change to LLVM-Dev and LLVMBugs to LLVM-Bugs to preserve consistency.
This means a couple of things:
1) All mailing lists will be down on August 4th. We anticipated at least the full day of downtime (hopefully less if

[LLVMdev] llvm.org Downtime on Tuesday, March 8
Dear All,
The LLVM network services (llvm.org web site, SVN server, etc.) will be
offline starting at 10:30 am Central Time on Tuesday, March 8. We are
moving the machine hosting these services to the server room where it
will be a dedicated server machine from Tuesday henceforth.
I expect the move will take less than 15 minutes. I will email the list
about an hour before the move as a

[LLVMdev] llvm.org DOWNTIME & IP CHANGE (Thursday, 7/9 @12pm PDT)
All,
llvm.org <http://llvm.org/> (including SVN and all web services) will be down on Thursday 7/9 starting at 12PM PDT. The server will be moved to a new location with a new IP address (192.17.58.186). It may take awhile for the DNS changes to propagate (TTL is 1 hour).
I will send email to the list again shortly before the move begins.
Thank you for your patience!

sieve: is it possible to filter ALL mailing lists (with header List-Id) to their folders with ONE rule?
Hello, Dovecot.
Is it possible to write one rule in sieve, which will:
(1) Trigger on any message with "List-Id" header
AND
(2) Put this message to folder with name build from content of "List-Id"
header, in such way, that message with List-Id
List-Id: This is decription of list <list-name.host.org>
will be put into folder "org.host.list-name" where

Quick question on sieve
I have a procmail recipe that does the majority of my heavy lifting for my mailing lists. It's pretty straightforward, but as I understand it, this isn't something sieve can do:
# [ ] contains a space and a tab
:0

* 9876543210^0 ^(List-Post:[ ]*(<mailto:)?|List-Owner:[ ]*(<mailto:)?owner-)\/[-A-Z0-9_+]+

Radeon 4800 or Ati in general viable for wine?
Longtime lurker and user of wine, but I'm about to replace my old nvidia card with a newer model and seeing as Ati is open sourcing their drivers. I was wondering if I should get a 4800 card, but only if the fglrx or x86-radeon driver is up to the task :)
Like can it run direct3d 9 games like Eve?
How about 2d performance in games like fallout 2 and planescape torment?

Remove "Duplicate" emails
In a quest to remove ?duplicate? messages sent to both me and lists I subscribe to I came up with this, which I think should clean out my Archive folder, but I?ve been unable to get it to work for scanning all on my list-user email.
$ doveadm -f table fetch -u kremels 'hdr.message-id guid uid hdr.x-listname' mailbox "Archive" | sort| awk 'cnt[$1]++{if (cnt[$1]==2) print

Dovecot/Sieve shortcuts?
Thanks! This is super-interesting.
As I try to set up include, I get failures which may indicate a need
for more coffee, but in /etc/dovecot/cond.f/90-sieve.conf I have:
plugin {
# Directory for :personal include scripts. The default is to use
home directory.
sieve_dir = %h/.sieve
# Directory for :global include scripts (not to be confused with
sieve_global_path).

Dovecot Oy merger with Open-Xchange AG
To Timo and the Dovecot guys - congratulations! I'm sure this merger with OpenXchange is going to provide you with a lot of resources and opportunities.
As a longtime user of dovecot, I do have a few concerns. I wonder if you can answer some questions for me.
You say that OpenXchange really likes open source and shares your plans for the future. Is this a commitment that future versions

Danish callerid on a x100p card
Hi
I've got a cheap card from x100p.com for my pots line. I haven't found a
definate answer if it is possible to get danish(DTMF without signaling
before it). I have had a look at bug #9 but that is
written longtime ago.
I am running zaptel 1.4.7 and asterisk 1.4.14 BRIstuffed 0.4.0-test4 both
from the xorcom debian packages. I believe they should contain some kind
functionality for DTMF

Call a script after every file modification
Is there a simple possibility to hook in a script which is called every
time a file is modified via smbd, e.g. a user is adding a file via samba
share? The script should get also the filename too :-)
The intended purpose is to duplicate the write operations of samba to
another disk. Yes I know there exists RAID and Rsync and other software,
but I want to use it for longtime archiving purposes,

Creating ToDo List App
Hi,
New Rails user here trying to create a basic todolist app in rails 3.2.6
and running into some foreign key issues. Here''s what I did...
I generated scaffolds
list title:string & task description:text listname:string
Next, in order to link the listname for Tasks and the list titles in the
Lists I generated a migration file which looks like this
class AddListIdToTasks <

Sieve, multiple addresses, and variables
Hi,
I have another sieve question, this time about setting variables.
I join a lot of mailing lists at ietf.org. I thought it'd be handy to
filter these all into a common folder and then into individual
folders, without having to configure each mailing list independently.
So wrote this (this is just a part, obviously):
require ["envelope", "variables",

list to data frame
Dear R helpers
I am trying to convert a list into a data frame but when I try, I get a
stack overflow error (Error: protect(): stack overflow). My list contains
about 17000 rows and looks like shown at the bottom. The reason that I
want to convert it in to a data frame is that I want to export it to a
mysql database with the dbWriteTable function.
The function that I use is

Incoming Call Recording
Longtime lurker, first time poster. :)
A client of mine is in need of having Asterisk record every call that comes
in from a specific incoming route. I've added the following lines to the
sip_additional.conf file, but no recordings are showing up in the
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/ folder.

record_in=always

[LLVMdev] llvmdev mailing list downtime
Dear list members,
On Monday, October 30, at 11 am Central Time, the llvmdev mailing list
will be offline for some testing. The testing should last about 15-20
minutes and will hopefully shed some light on why the mailing list is
taking so long to deliver email to some people. I will send mail to the
list when the testing begins and ends.
During the tests, I will be disabling a few email

Mailing list move NOW!
The LLVM mailing lists are being moved to their new home starting at 9AM PDT TODAY. As a reminder:
1) SVN access will be read only
2) Bugzilla is unavailable
3) LLVM Reviews will be down.
3) Mailing lists will move to listname at lists.llvm.org (plus 2 are renamed: LLVMDev -> llvm-dev, LLVMBugs -> llvm-bugs)
I will send an email to the new lists once they are open for posting and when SVN
