Using Samba 2.2.8a with Microsoft Cluster Services
Hello all-
First time posting to group in 3.5 years of using Samba ;)
I have a particularily odd problem that the folks over at
sql-server-performance.com forums have never seen nor heard of... I am
setting up an W2kAS/SQL2k active/passive cluster using Cluster Services.
The MSCS requires a common domain login for installing and configuring
MSCS which I have setup on my Samba 2.2.8a PDC

Anybody ever done 6 monitors on one server before? :)
My boss wants to put together a Network Operations Center, with a
network monitoring server as the centerpiece. He wants that server to
have 6 monitors: 4 for network monitoring tools (rrdtool, etc) and two
for running commands and the like (ping, traceroute, etc).
I know that with the right video card(s) you can have two monitors, but
has anybody had 6?
Thanks!

[LLVMdev] patch for DragonEgg 3.3
Hi - attached is a patch to enable building DragonEgg (x86_64) for LLVM3.3 and LLVM3.4. That is, add these changes to the 3.3 release, and it becomes possible to build DragonEgg against a llvm3.4 compiler.

[LLVMdev] troubles with ISD::FPOWI
Hi,
I'm stumped by how to handle fpowi. Here is the context: my architecture has i64, f32, and f64 registers. No i32. For calls & returns, we promote i32 to i64. There is no support in the architecture to perform fpowi - it has to go through the runtime.
I'm using gfortran + dragonegg + llvm3.4 to generate .ll files via plugin.
The fortran expression
REAL = REAL ** INTEGER*4

Creating variables with different levels depending on conditions
Dear R-help-list,
I started using R coming from the former use of SPSS, mainly writing my own
syntax.
I do classical experimental cognitive psychology and am interested in the
cognitive control of task sequences (i.e. classification task). Especially I
am interested in the performance of the actual depending on the tasks
before. Thus, in SPSS I create variables like this one:

Zaptel tone description
Lilantha, the tones are supposed to be switched using the loadzone and
defaultzone lines in /etc/zaptel.conf , and, progzone in
/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf.
The information about countries and frequencies/times are at
zonedata.c located in the sourcecode of zaptel. As you may know,
changing zonedata.c information requires a re-compilation of the zaptel
module.
Hope it helps,
Ricardo

Thank you,

Memory Problems
I have an R program which basically reads in data. It then
calls a C program which performs numerical integration until converging
to a solution. The result is then passed back from C to R.
Unfortunately, when running this program, the virtual
memory associated with it explodes -> 2GIG!. Does anyone know what might
be causing this or can suggest possiblie ways to debug?
Thank you!

Platinum Blu-Ray Defeat the World
I ordered the Limited Edition Diamond Collector's Set,because I'm a big Disney dvd (http://www.seriesonsale.com/DVDs/Walt-Disney-s-100-Years-Of-Magic-164-Discs-DVD-Box-Set-24.html)fan. I was blown away by how nice the set really is. The box is lined in velvet with gold embossments. The lithographs are of pencil animation, so you get to see all of the animator's original pencil lines.

LME problem
I am analyzing data on a study of the effects of Coronary Artery Bypass
Graft (CABG) on cognitive function, as measured by a score from an
objective test. I have 140 people who receive the CABG surgery and 92
controls, with four measurements of cognitive function over time (at 0,
