Re: Recommended minimal amount of free space to keep?
You will get better long- term performance if you don't fill the
filesystems more than about 70% full. Above 90% you are permanently
fragmenting the filesystem (depends on total size and workload also).
There is the secondary issue that mke2fs can lay out the filesystem
better if it is done right at the start rather than resize2fs doing it in
small increments. I think as long as you are

Re: CF Card wear optimalisation for ext4
Something else that you might want to do is count the number of
journal commits that are taking place, via a command like this:
perf stat -e jbd2:jbd2_start_commit -a sleep 3600
This will count the number of jbd2 commits are executed in 3600
seconds --- i.e., an hour.
If you are running some workload which is constantly calling fsync(2),
that will be forcing journal commits, and those turn into

Re: problems with usb stick after suspend and wake up
Hi Alan,
sorry for the journalctl output. I have now done the following:L
* boot into 3.17-rc7
* mount the usb stick (recovery completed)
* unmount, mount, unmount - just to be sure all is fine
* started usbmon capturing on bus 3
* mount the usb stick
* suspend to ram
* wake up
now the stick is "officially" mounted (/proc/mounts)
* umount
error messages pop up
* try to mount

Thanks to all in advance.

Removing intermediate variables in calculation
Hello,
I have a small Puppet 2.7 module to configure Sonatype Nexus Professional.
The module takes, among other things, a baseurl in the form of
"http://example.com/path" and I''d like it to extract the "/path" from that
variable into a separate variable IF an optional "path" variable haven''t
been supplied.
Here is an extract:

Queue Realtime agents LOGIN for ami
Is there any AMI action that logs a realtime agent?
I mean, if you send it, queue_log and queue_member get the corresponding
inserts.

TRANSFER EVENT ON QUEUE_LOG
Hi,
Anyone knows if TRANSFER event on queue_log is still working on 1.6.0.6.
I make an attended transfer (asterisk feature), and I cant see the event.
Any idea? Should I submit a bug report?

Outgoing Queues
Anyone thought about something like outgoing queues?
I mean, having same info that has for inbound queues but for outbound calls,
and grouping members there.
For example, before using dial application put an app outqueue that get all
the statics.
Talked time, member status, last call, completed calls, failed calls, reset
statics, and maybe some more. So its possible to get more control and has

Hello,
I would like to know how to obtain the misclassification error when performing a boosting analisis with ADABAG package?
With:

I obtain the confusion matrix, but not the overall missclassification error.

Samba 3.2 Ldap problem
Hi,
I've running a samba 3.0.22-13.30 server in standalone mode (security=user) for quite a while. It's authenticated against an openLdap and works great, say Server A.
A few days ago I've installed OpenSuSE 11 Beta 2 in another server, it came with samba 3.2.0-18, so as I'm very lazy I copied the smb.conf file from the working server to the new one with little modifications
