Debian patches for Xen 4.5.0 (RC3)
(I hope this is the right address to send this message to.)
I've spent the last few days getting Xen 4.5.0 RC3 to form up Debian
packages, adapting the files from xen-4.4.1-4.
Would you guys like my patches?
It was a non-trivial exercise, especially because of commit 2c96ecb1,
which invalidated a huge chunk of the quilt patches.
I thought it might save you some effort when 4.5.0 is finally

Bug#785132: No screen refresh on Windows 8.1 with xen-hypervisor-4.5-amd64
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.5-amd64_4.5.0-1_amd64.deb
Version: 4.5.0-1
Hi,
I use xen with sdl, not with vnc. When I boot on
xen-hypervisor-4.4-amd64, everything is fine. With Debian or Windows 8.1
I have a good display,
But when I choose at boot, the xen-hypervisor-4.5-amd64, things go wrong.
If I launch a xen Debian, I get some blur effect on the display.
And when I launch a xen Windows8.1,

creating axis of the plot before data are plotted
Dear R-users,
I'm tackling with a problem which causing me a head-ache for a long time. I
would like to create a nice x-axis to my plots, but I do not know how to
implement the method.
Imagine a matrix where you have rownames real numbers -- these rownames
should be written in the x-axis nicely. I could not find any way how.
I'll describe what I'm doing now:
I have a matrix where

CTDB Node unnecessarily banning other nodes
Hi,
We are using CTDB version 1.0.77 and yesterday we saw an instance of node
running into issues and banning itself to recover (as listed below):
node1:
2009/07/29 23:23:37.748251 [22371]: Banning node 0 for 300 seconds
2009/07/29 23:23:37.748263 [22371]: self ban - lowering our election
priority
2009/07/29 23:23:37.748503 [22275]: This node has been banned - forcing
freeze and recovery

Ragnarok Online - Can't update the client (details inside)
Hello. This is my first post here, as until now I wasn't missing any Windows program. As at the moment I can spare some free time I wanted to do a brief come back to Ragnarok Online.
The problem that I found is that the installer crashes every single time I start the game (image link) (http://ompldr.org/vNXpheg), and then it becomes irresponsible (image link) (http://ompldr.org/vNXpiOA).

Mapping CIFS/Samba problem
All,
The Windows 2000 client is on my side of the firewall (the error message is: "remote computer is not available"), the Windows XP client is on the other side of the firewall, (the error message is: "The specified network name is no longer available"). I am able to ping both the IP address and server name of the CIFS/Samba server. I cannot perform the mapping, via Map

I am attempting to plot weekly horizontal histograms, something very similar
to:

The part of the code used to create this graphic that interest me:
# Draw the histograms

par(new = TRUE)
xmin <- -ages[i] + xlim[1]
xmax <- xlim[2] - ages[i]

Samba and ufw (mmcg29440@frontier.com)
Rowland,
Thank you for all your help, I agree that this is not a Samba issue.
Given rhat it works without the firewall. It' either a ufw or Windows
8.1 issue.
Louis,
Applied the rules you suggested to ufw exactly as written. No change.
Still cannot connect with firewall enabled. Same error mesage as before
"Cannot mount location ...". ufw log set to medium and copied below.
