Debian patches for Xen 4.5.0 (RC3)
Thanks for your work on xen packages, I have some question about 4.5 packages: I saw a debian/rules that disable blktap2 but debian/patches/tools-blktap2-prefix.diff is still present and used in series, if blktap2 is now disable I think is nomore needed. I saw also many other patches about prefix still present but for xen 4.5 time ago I saw a big series of patches about honor tools prefix,

xen_4.5.0~rc3-1_amd64.changes is NEW
binary:libxen-4.5 is NEW. binary:xen-hypervisor-4.5-amd64 is NEW. binary:xen-hypervisor-4.5-arm64 is NEW. binary:xen-hypervisor-4.5-armhf is NEW. binary:xen-utils-4.5 is NEW. Your package has been put into the NEW queue, which requires manual action from the ftpteam to process. The upload was otherwise valid (it had a good OpenPGP signature and file hashes are valid), so please be patient.

Exceptional slowness with read.csv
data.table's fread is also fast. Not sure about error handling. But I can merge 300 csvs with a total of 0.5m lines and 50 columns in a couple of minutes versus a lifetime with read.csv or readr::read_csv On Mon, 8 Apr 2024, 16:19 Stevie Pederson, <stephen.pederson.au at gmail.com> wrote: > Hi Dave, > > That's rather frustrating. Getting to the last "old" voicemail message
If you have many old voicemail messages, to get to the most recent one, you have to keep hitting "6" until you reach the last one. It would be better if you could hit "4" from the first message to get to the last message and/or have a digit that takes you the first and last messages respectively. Anyone have any patches for this?

Bug#785132: No screen refresh on Windows 8.1 with xen-hypervisor-4.5-amd64
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.5-amd64_4.5.0-1_amd64.deb Version: 4.5.0-1 Hi, I use xen with sdl, not with vnc. When I boot on xen-hypervisor-4.4-amd64, everything is fine. With Debian or Windows 8.1 I have a good display, But when I choose at boot, the xen-hypervisor-4.5-amd64, things go wrong. If I launch a xen Debian, I get some blur effect on the display. And when I launch a xen Windows8.1,

Exceptional slowness with read.csv
I solved the mystery, but not the problem. The problem is that there's an unclosed quote somewhere in those 5 additional records I'm trying to access. So read.csv is reading million-character fields. It's slow at that. That mystery solved. However, the the problem persists: how to fix what is obvious to the naked eye - a quote not adjacent to a comma - but that read.csv can't

Xend not starting (Lenny backport of Xen 3.4.3-rc3)
Hi, I have recompiled xen-3_3.4.3~rc3-1 in Lenny, together with the 2.6.32-10 kernel. While my dom0 boots without issue under Xen, xend refuses to start. I have cut/past my xend.log is bellow. Is there any reason why a backport of this version of Xen wouldn't work in Lenny? Should I try the already compiled SID binaries in Lenny without trying to build myself? Cheers, Thomas When I start

Voicemail Directory
Hi All- I am running into a small problem trying to implement voicemail Directory(). I'm sure it is a simple thing, but I can't figure out where the problem lies. I can get into the directory without a problem and can look up users by their last names, however I hit a snag when asterisk says "if this is the person you are looking for press 1 now". When I hit 1, the attendant
