Hi all, the release notes (docs/ReleaseNotes.rst) seem like it is mostly a holdover from 3.2, (the removal of CellSPU is in there though). Would anybody be opposed to me cleaning this out so that the actual changes from 3.3 are the only ones there? -- Sean Silva

Currently we use the drm_dp_dpcd_read_caps() helper in the DRM side of nouveau in order to read the DPCD of a DP connector, which makes sure we do the right thing and also check for extended DPCD caps. It is a serious deficiency that I (and others) would like to address, but it requires significant changes to the pass manager and analysis dependency system.
