xcp-storage-managers with iSCSI on wheezy
Hi, I'm trying to build a XCP environment based on wheezy and iSCSI storage. When I try to add a iSCSI SR I get the following error: The SR could not be connected because the driver was not recognised. driver: lvmoiscsi As I couldn't find the driver in /usr/lib/xcp/sm I took a look into the package itself and saw that the driver exists in drivers, but is not listed in the Makefile. XCP Debi an - ISCSI support?
I have Kronos setup fine. I have installed open-iscsi and setup the system as an initiator. However, I cannot seem to get xapi to allow me to setup the target as an SR. I was trying to use XenCenter but go nowhere. So I tried adding it manually and here is what I got: xe sr-create host-uuid=466aac75-c86a-496f-90e8-2a9925a9e9f7 content-type=user \ > name-label="Shared LVM over iSCSI

Does XCP supports LVMoiSCSI ?
Is it possible to use LVMoiSCSI on XCP 1.6 or is that feature available only for XenServer ? Could I run "*xe sr*-*create type=lvmoiscsi ...*" on a XCP node? XCP quiesce questions
Hello All, I am working on a large storage array running Solaris 11 Express with the comstar iSCSI target service. I have several xcp 1.0 servers running in a pool using this storage as iscsi, not lvmoiscsi. Which in I am using the VDI-per-LUN model. This also means that I am unable to utilize the xen snapshots. What I would like to do is to use the zfs snapshots so that I can replicate them

XCP 0.5 killing umanaged domain (BUG?)
1) Misspelled message ''killing umanaged domain'' (must be killing UNmanaged domain) 2) more serious. I found this message after disappearance of virtual machine created early. I restart XAPI tool stack and machine was killed (not shutdowned, but completely removing). Here log (from machine where domain was resident) Main line in log file I suspect:

new with xcp 1.6 - iscsi raw configuration
Hi all, I have experience with XEN, but I just start making tests with XCP. My XEN installation uses iscsi disks in raw mode (i mean using phy:/... for vm definitions where the block device is an iscsi lun managed by the dom0). I''m reading citrix manuals and googling a lot but still i''m not sure about the way to make such a configuration. Any of you has a tutorial for that

XCP: iscsi redundancy
Good day. Is XCP supports any way to mirror network storages (iscsi, f.e.)? As I understand, XCP does not support DRBD yet, so, which other ways are? --- wBR, George. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

[XCP] iSCSI Install/Boot
I just ordered quite a few servers, and, without verifying ahead of time, ordered without hard drives planning to boot over iSCSI using the built-in network cards (NOT an iSCSI HBA). I''m wondering if anyone has tried (and hopefully succeeded) installing XCP to an iSCSI volume using a network card with iSCSI boot support and the software iSCSI initiator in XCP. Obviously I can order HDs

Package: xcp-storage-managers Version: 0.1.1-3 Severity: normal XCP cannot use iscsi block devices. Fails with iscsiadm: No active sessions. I ran the following commands trying to diagnose the problem: First introducing a SR and then creating a PBD with the needed configuration for the iscsi block device. These steps work fine but when I tried to plug the PBD I got the error: root at

Bug#717575: xcp-storage-managers: Wrong path of pidof in /usr/lib/xcp/sm/iscsilib.py
Package: xcp-storage-managers Version: 0.1.1-3 Severity: normal This was already reported in the archived bug 691805 but I sent an e-mail and I received back permanent delivery failure because this bugs has been archieved. Still the path of "pidof" in the file /usr/lib/xcp/sm/iscsilib.py is wrong on Wheezy. It should be /bin/pidof instead of /sbin/pidof root at xcpcompute2:~# cat

Bug#691806: xcp-storage-managers: Missing dependency
Package: xcp-storage-managers Version: 0.1.1-2 Severity: important The xcp-storage-managers seems to depends on sg3-utils package which contains the 'sginfo' (/usr/bin/sginfo) binary called by /usr/lib/xcp/sm/scsiutil.py script twice (lines 105 and 107). A simple 'apt-get install sg3-utils' solved this issue so I believe that xcp-storage-managers dependency list needs to
