SSL only working in DEBUG mode
Hello all, With a really fast lookup, I think it is probably a problem of NSS initialization (key loading...) . As the problem occurs only when upsd is forked and as nss is initialized ( https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/blob/master/server/upsd.c#L1008)before upsd deamonify ( https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/blob/master/server/upsd.c#L1035), I suspect NSS to not be fork-safe. I will

USB drivers not found when compiling
Came across this in the process of troubleshooting: https://alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/nut-upsuser/2011-November/007249.html My whole reason for compiling from source is to add SSL support (as it doesn't seem available through the package manager). Apt list shows these installed: libusb-1.0-0-dev/stable,now 2:1.0.22-2 armhf [installed] libusb-1.0-0/stable,now 2:1.0.22-2 armhf

Ah, ok, apt-get remove libldb1 ldb-tools Then try again : apt install samba winbind acl The replacement of libldb1 to libldb2 is missing something. I'll have a look at that. Some precisions: we are not alone, some projects had similar problem: http://bugs.bitlbee.org/bitlbee/ticket/785 And the problem is really coming from NSS initialization. Discussion about the issue here : http://osdir.com/ml/mozilla.crypto/2002-08/msg00016.html There is a workaround to use NSS with fork but it is more setting a flag to share some resources (primarily sockets) but must

Samba 3.0.7 domain membership with AD2003
hi guys, I have problems with authentification in a 2003 domain membership configuration of samba 3.0.7. I'm a newbie in linux systems, then I will give you my configuration process of the program. The samba server is installed on a Redhat 9.0 without any base install of samba, without kerberos and with the open LDAP RPM installed. I follow this procedure to build binarie from sources
