Re: NUT mustek UPS driver (fwd)
"mustek" is all but deprecated, so the effort should be to get
powermust/megatec working.
Since you have the latest development code installed, can you please
run "/path/to/megatec -DDDD -a the_name_for_your_ups" (this without
starting NUT normally - i.e. without upsd, upsmon, etc) and send me
the output?
The output should help me figure out why you are getting data stale

Mustek PowerMust 1000AV USB feedbacks
Hello,
It looks like the nut-upsuser list is momentarily down. That's why I
send it to nut-upsdev list too.
I have recently bought a mustek Powermust 1000VA USB (sadly not the USB
P version). I have done some tests with the latest nut 2.2.0 megatec and
megatec_usb drivers. Here are my feedbacks.
It works quite well but is extremely noisy in battery mode (and that
is not the noise of the

Mustek PowerMust 800VA
Hello,
fisrt, you should subscribe to the NUT user mailing list to get a good
support, since I've personaly no knowledges about such units:
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/nut-upsuser
Next, you should try the latest nut release (2.0.5 currently, but
2.2.0 soon) and most of all the new megatec driver.

Nut 2.0.1, net-snmp-5.1.2p2, APC SUA1000 with AP9606: repeated comm lost/established messages
Hello list members,
I am running NUT 2.0.1 on an OpenBSD 3.8 system, using the OpenBSD port for
net-snmp-5.1.2p2. The UPS is connected via an AP9606 Web/SNMP card with
current firmware, and the LAN. All goes well for a long time, usually more
than one month. Then the system starts spitting messages about losing
communications with the UPS. A second message about reconnecting follows
immediately.

howto force shutdown if nut-snmp Communications lost
Hallo,
I have one ups with snmp and any ups without snmp.
Shutdown works while network online.
But some batteries are empty, so that the communication break early.
Howto force shutdown if nut-snmp Communications lost?
My 1. suggestion was option DEADTIME, but seem to be information only. (s. below)
Any suggestions?
The last way would be a ugly cronjob (like: ping || shutdown).
regards Heiko

Fw: [Nut-upsdev] POWERCOM-UPS-USB : UPS Shutdown
Good Day Roger Price
AA. Hi, Normally one would expect the UPS to disconnect it's power outlets
after the default ups.delay.shutdown = 20 seconds.
==> I got it. I tried to command "upsdrvctl shutdown" on both line-mode and
battery-mode
==> But ups do not disconnect its outlets power

MGE pulsar evolution 3000 discharges without nut noticing
I'm running nut 2.0.1 with an MGE pulsar evolution 3000 with the

Let's make sure you are not missing an obvious point. By "has not NUT",
you might mean not running upsd. The best practice is to run upsmon on
the other hosts. This does not require running NUT proper (server). Is
there some reason why you can't
