That was actually just a one-off mistake in making a simple example to post. The errors are the same even with the correct "@localhost". I will look into whether there's a backport to 12.04, as

Monitoring slaves via dummy-ups
Hello, I wondered how folks monitored slaves. In my case, I am using Nagios and the check_ups plugin. It seems to work fine but being new to nut, I'm seeking confirmation that this is a sane approach. The goal: confirm the slaves have contact with the master. The environment: * FreeBSD 12.1 * nut-2.7.4 installed from package Background: I am replacing an APC 2200 UPS (still in use) with

A proper way to modify battery.charge.low persistently
Dear fellow NUT-UPS users, I'm writing this message mostly "for the record" - for others who will follow in my footsteps. Apparently, I'm not the only one, trying to find a way to "make my UPS to initiate the graceful shutdown process earlier". The topic is kind of documented in various different places, and there are a number of howto's and forum posts in the

Well, asking to dev-icecast list, James Scoles told me that icecast by itself can't do what i need. So he recomended me to use "liquidsoap" to do the rebroadcast. It is working just fine, because i didn't have time to discover some new thing yet. I wish to share with all of you. Thanks. 2011/4/21 Sascha Bieler <sascha.bieler at radiogong.de>: > As far as I know you

May be i forgot to say, i don't have access to the slave server. This one (the slave) is an icescast2 server that is not mine, i can't configure anything on that. I have been thinking about just use darkice to send some recivied stream to many other servers, but i thought that icecast may have the posibility to set up an "repeater" or whatever. Need some config in xml, just

Hi Arnaud, I played a bit with dummy driver in repeater mode. It is the concept what I need. Unfortunately I found that if connection to another upsd gets broken the driver does not try to repair it. Gabor

Hi all there. I am trying to set up an icecast2 server (wich is already running) to send some stream mount point to another server. I mean, my server is streaming at /radio1.mp3 mount point. We can listen it at http://myserver:8000/radio1.mp3; so, i want to know if is there any way to "clone" that strem and send it to another server, such as http://giss.tv:8000/radio1.mp3 Thanks. --
