upsset.cgi doesn't check that user/password is valid, it just tries it
when doing a command.
I just tested it, it is working for me on a remote and

Which credentials are used to logon to the upsset.cgi page?
Whenever I try to set a value like battery.charge.low using the
Network UPS Tools upsset 2.4.3 cgi script, I get an error: Unexpected
response: ERR ACCESS-DENIED
I can not start a quick UPS test either.
Which credentials are used to logon to the upsset.cgi page? I've tried...

I think so - 40.8 volts with a nominal of 36 volts is 13.6 V/cell, which agrees with the 100% charge value. Hopefully the line voltages and frequency make sense for your region.

Thank you very much!!
I have tried configure downloaded source with
# ./configure --with-user=_ups --with-group=_ups
--with-statepath=/var/db/nut/
and then build driver and copy again. but this doesn't help (driver pid
still in the /var/state/ups).
Maybe I must add more arguments to change driver's pid location, but I did
next, I changed this argument in openbsd ports:
# pkg_delete nut

2.4.1 Voltages are Great for CP1000AVRLCD, but usbfs messages in logs (a lot)
Arjen, all,
Just dropping a note on two points. First, Voltages are perfect in 2.4.1 for
the Cyberpower ups's. Glad to see I'm not pushing 20+ any more:

Second, even though the changes to where the monitor lines go in the configs
and changes from ACCEPT, etc.. to LISTEN are fairly old now, the documentation

Hi,
Another beginner question. I spend hours trying to find the solution for
how to configure winnut properly but I' struggling to make it work. I want
my QNAP NAS TS-231 to work as a master and send signal to the PC to shut it
down during power outage. I configured QNAP properly (like this:

CGI-BIN for Nut
I'm access nut online via localhost. But I have the following problems.
When I click on Statistics I get cannot open /etc/hosts.conf. When I click
on settings I get: Error: Can't open upsset.conf to verify security
settings.
Refusing to start until this is fixed.
I have .htaccess in cgi-bin with the following:
<Files upsset.cgi>
deny from all
allow from 127.0.0.1

Accessing nut online
Hi,
These are the instructions I have about accessing nut online.
By using the cgi use flag you have the files to use on the webserver.

Hi,
To to build an RPM from the nut 2.0.3 source I've corrected the old
nut.spec.in file. Please find a copy of the slightly updated spec file
attached. The changes are documented at the bottom of the spec file.

Patch -- SVN revision in the version string
This is the patch to include SVN revision level in version number displays.
There should be two enclosures; the patch itself and a new source file.
common/upsversion.c.
upversion.c defines a single function. upsversion(), that returns a version
string for display. Some Makefile trickery ensures that this file will
be recompiled whenever the project's SVN revision level has changed since
