Tim, is this the issue you mentioned on 2014-02-02 with blocks 0x9 and 0x13? I'll reply to that email.

The driver will poll the UPS for what variables it supports when it starts, and then go into a polling loop. Look for a section defining the meter map, and you should see the result, as well as the raw data. You can get the comm spec for XCP from the nut site if you want to delve deeper. I'd give more specifics, but am out of town and only working from memory at the moment . . .

The boolean variables seem to be indicated by "Yes". I

Problem using an Eaton Ellipse ASR 750 VA on FreeBSD
Hello guys,
I have to manage an Eaton Ellipse ASR 750 VA UPS under a FreeBSD 8.2 server.
I used nut from ports collection but I'm unable to detect the UPS by USB cable.
Here is the output of 'usbconfig -u 4 -a 2 dump_device_desc' :
ugen4.2: <ELLIPSE EATON> at usbus4, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=LOW (1.5Mbps) pwr=ON
bLength = 0x0012

NUT and Eaton UPS produce a lot of error messages
Hello
I recently bought a small UPS by Eaton (Ellipse ECO 800) in order to prevent my
btrfs-fileserver (running Debian 12 Bookworm 12.4 from shutting down
abruptly while writing
something important during a power loss. I am using the version
2.8.0.7 provided by Debian.
I have found very gooddocumentation on how to set up the UPS and the
services on the server
connected to it. Unfortunately

Problem with NUT and an Eaton 5PX UPS, usbhid-ups won't start
Hello,
I have trouble connecting to an Eaton 5PX UPS via the usbhid-ups
driver. It is supposed to be fully working according to the
compatibility list (support level 5).
OS: A fresh Debian stable install. Then changed the apt source to
unstable and did "aptitute update" and "aptitude install nut". Nothing
else. I did that, because the "unstable" package is a more

ondelay parameter does not work with NUT on Raspbian and Eaton 5E850iUSBDIN UPS
Hi,
I have the Eaton 5E850iUSBDIN UPS connected via USB to a Raspberry Pi 3B+.
It seems that everything but the ondelay parameter works so far.
when I test the setup with this command:
upsmon -c fsd
The NUT server makes the NUT clients shut down properly and the Raspberry
Pi running the NUT server shuts down correctly too. The problem is that
after UPS shuts down, it immediatelly brings the

NUT and Eaton UPS produce a lot of error messages
Well, from your logs it seems that at 05:17:03 your nut-server (upsd)
restarted, so an upsmon reconnection attempt at 05:17:09 had an issue with
that (config not all applied? strange a bit) but since 05:17:14 it is okay.
Maybe a few too many banners shown from upsmon, while its same uptime seems
to continue. Maybe someone should check on that, seems like a good and easy
newcomer issue to learn

New UPS Support: Eaton 5S 1000
I've used NUT successfully for monitoring many different brands of UPS, but
this one has me stumped. It has the same manufacturer ID and Product ID as
older supported MGE-type Eaton UPS's, but has trouble talking. I tried
Ubuntu's repo NUT, and it logs a Connecting to UPS message every few
seconds forever, but never really succeeds (or says it fails). Different
failure mode after

NUT for Windows + Eaton/PW 5110
Nut for Windows 2.6.3-3 + Eaton/PW 5110 (103004256-5591).
I had to manually install libusb driver and I'm using bcmxcp_usb.
upsd.exe is reporting to me "Out of memory". It will run, but once
anything connects to the daemon, it dies with that message.
I don't have much experience with NUT yet so I'm not sure what the next
course of action is. I do have NUT for Windows

Eaton 3S550
Windows 7 Pro x64
Eaton 3S550 (brand new, battery mfg 8/15/2012)
NUT 2.6.5-3
ups.status: OL CHRG
CHRG was present even though it has been plugged in a few days turned on
and battery.charge was 100%.
Log includes me running upsc and removing power long enough to see that
battery.charge will decrease.
This UPS doesn't have controlled outlets despite what the upsc output says.

Monitor Eaton 93PS UPS
Hello,
we try to use Network UPS tools to monitor a network connected Eaton
93PS UPS. It basically works but we get frequent "Data is stale -
check driver" warnings with a "data is no longer stale" shortly after
in the log. We tried both snmp-ups and netxml-ups driver and both
raise the same error. If have captured the communication between nut
and UPS but all

Monitor Eaton 93PS UPS
I also operate an HP T1500 G3 which it's an Eaton made UPS. Connected on
usb i get frequent communication errors and data aquisition stopped. Mine
has a serial connection, also. Operating via serial has no trouble. Maybe
it's something related to usb setting in bios, i.e. Legacy mode, speed
setting, etc.
However on serial mode looks like the eaton or hoe power protector software
does not
