upds crash with 'Out of memory'
Hello, I am trying to get nut running on a Windows 2012 R2 server (x64). I am using the MSI release of 2.6.5-3. The attached UPS is an APC xs1500 (model bx1500g). The connection is an RJ45 to USB cable. Here is my ups.conf: [xs1500] driver = usbhid-ups port = auto desc = "APC Back-UPS xs1500" The problem I am encountering is upsd crashing with an 'Out of memory' error. I can

Windows Version not working --
Good evening, Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.. I downloaded and installed the 2.6.5-6 Windows MSI and it installed fine, although I nee to also get a libusb0.dll. Connected USB to a Triplite, I could go to the Devices and Printers and see the USB installed. But no matter what I did I could not get nut to work. I tried various commands, and got various errors.

[EXTERNAL] nut-scanner, SNMPv3, APC UPS not chatting

That worked just fine and dandy. Now I guess I need to play with the order of the nut-scanner arguments to see if I get a similar result. thanks, nomad

Fry's Electronics UPS...
Hello, I am trying to get a "no-brand" (LMS DATA, model no LMSP1200RI) UPS to work with NUT. I now realise I should have checked compatibility with NUT before purchase. My other UPS (APC) works perfectly..... Anyway, I have spent a good day trying to get this thing working. #lsusb Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0001:0000 Fry's ElectronicsDevice Descriptor: bLength 18

nut-2.6.5: ups.timer.start problem with EATON Protection Station 650
Hi, I have successfully configured Nut to work with EATON PS 650: system detects low battery, initiates shutdown, waits for UPS to switch power off. However, when power is restored, UPS immediately powers on all power plugs independently from ups.timer.start setting. upsc reports "ups.timer.start" variable availability which is set to 0. upsrw reports "ups.delay.start"

Fwd: [EXTERNAL] SNMP shutdown timing out
I meant to send this to the list but evidently only sent it to David. Since sending it I've done a second test which shows what a successful snmpset looks like. First attachment, from the forwarded email, is nutout.txt. Second attachment is snmpout.txt. nomad -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Re: [Nut-upsuser] [EXTERNAL] SNMP shutdown timing out Date: Mon, 4 May 2020 09:28:57

virtual routing issue
A most puzzling network conundrum has arisen while I was attempting to create a virtual network behind a virtual router which in turn connects the virtual network to my real network. My machine (192.168.103.23) is on the network with my router (192.168.103.1). The virtual router, tiara, has to connect my 192.168.103.* network with the virtual 10.0.0.* network which comprises two other virtual

2.6 and 2.2
I want to upgrade to 2.6 now that it is an official release. I have one box that is connected to the UPS via the serial port ('master'). I have another box that connects to the master over the network. Can I upgrade the master to 2.6, leaving the other box at 2.2, or do I need to upgrade everything to 2.6 at the same time? Eventually I want to bring everything up to 2.6, but I
