Some issues with UPS Forza SL-1001
Hi to everybody. Some days ago, I bought an UPS by Forza Power Technologies,
model SL-1001. This Forza SL-1001 is line-interactive, has 14,4 A/h charge
and is rated at 1000VA. Before, I had a TrippLite Omni 500 (or something
like that), a simple contact-closure UPS, and I used nut with the simple
genericupsdriver, so I'm new with this type of UPSs.
NUT doesn't list Forza as a

[HCL] Eaton Powerware 9125 2500U supported by USB
I'm looking for a driver for and old uninterruptible power supply (UPS),
Eaton Powerware 9125 2500U. I want to use it with my FreeNAS server.
I looked a the list and didn't see a driver for it:
http://www.networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html?manufacturer=Eaton
I see a driver for the 9130; any idea whether it will work with a 9125?
Any other ideas for connecting the 9125 to a FreeNAS

Power Down ESXi before SAN
I have 2 APC UPS systems, one is connected to my ESXi host and the other to
my FreeNAS. The battery for the FreeNAS will run out before the battery
for the ESXi, so I need ESXi to shutdown first. If I wait until
BatteryLow on ESXI, it will be too late as FreeNAS will have already
shutdown. How can I change the configuration on ESXI to shutdown after a
small delay so that it is done before

Trouble getting Roline/Powercom UPS recognized
Hi all,
I’m new to NUT and have some trouble getting my new UPS to work.
Since the HCL listed Powercom UHID models as „green“ I thought buying
a Roline (German rebranded Powercom) model would be a good idea.
The OS is FreeBSD:

Issue with apcupsd-ups?
Hello;I just came across NUT, testing FreeNAS/FreeBSD. I?m running at home a APC UPS connected to another computer, running apcupsd.
I found out that NUT didn't talk by default to apcupsd, and there was a driver created relatively recently (apcupsd-ups), which filled in that gap.
The version I found on my FreeBSD/FreeNAS system seems to imply that there is more to come to that driver (0.04)

TLS ca/cert/key creation
I'm working to put up a production FeeeNAS box tied to Samba/AD for authentication for users connecting to the FreeNAS share(s).
In joining FreeNAS to the AD domain, one immediately runs into "problems" with TLS/encryption.
Samba, in the defaults requires TLS. I could disable TLS security in Samba, but that's probably not a great idea.
So, I'll need a key/cert for the

APC Back-UPS CS and ES series
I'm using FreeNAS 9.1, and I've just got an APC Back-UPS CS 500. In theory it's supported by NUT, but the latest released version (2.6.5) doesn't have support for it (the driver reports an error, which is apparently due to an overflow). According to a thread on the mailing list, Back-UPS ES series requires a fix that's in source control, and CS series requires an additional

Cyberpower PR2200ELCDRT2U
Hey guys, :)
recently, I installed Cyberpower PR2200ELCDRT2U, however, I have not managed to get this UPS working with FreeNAS 11, yet.
According to compatibility list, PR2200 should work fine, when using powerpanel driver:

Need a little help with Samba 3.5.5 on FreeNAS 7.2.5543
Good afternoon all. I have an odd problem that has me stumped and I'm hoping
someone here may be able to help. Recently I switched from a Gentoo Linux
based OS to FreeNAS. The version of Samba running on FreeNAS is 3.5.5 (and
was the same under Linux). I mainly use my FreeNAS/Samba box to share MP3
files to an Audiotron. One of the files is the Turtle Beach radio file,
radio_tr.txt. When I was

I am not familiar with the specifics of building for FreeNAS, but our BuildBot instance is making source snapshots again:
