kswapd taking 100% cpu with no swap on system
Hi All I have xeon server with 16 Gb Ram and no Swap memory.I am running cassandra server on two node in cluster.When there is high load on server kswapd0 kicks inn and take 100% cpu and make machine very slow and we need to restart out cassandra server.I have latest kernel 2.6.18-238.9.1.el5.Please let me know how can i fix this issue .Its hurting us badly this our production server any

PowerPC big-endian tests breakage
Hi all, One of my commit broke the PowerPC builder, so I reverted it. The issue could be reproduced only for big-endian, little-endian ppc64 built ok. How can I fix it? I have no access to any PowerPC box to get to the bottom of issue. All the other tests are ok. Register Spill Caused by the Reassociation pass
This conflict is with many optimizations incl. copy prop, coalescing, hoisting etc. Each could increase register pressure and with similar impact. Attempts to control the register pressure locally (within an optimization pass) tend to get hard to tune and maintain. Would it be a better way to describe eg in metadata how to undo an optimization? Update to Centos 7.7 / Arch ppc64le / Problem with nvidia driver
Hello, today I updated a CentOS 7.6 ppc64le machine to CentOS 7.7. After reboot to the new kernel (4.18.0-80.7.2.el7.ppc64le) dkms could not build the nvidia-module. Error-message from dkms: Compiler version check failed: The major and minor number of the compiler used to compile the kernel: gcc version 8.3.1 20190311 (Red Hat 8.3.1-3) (GCC) does not match the compiler used here: cc (GCC)
