Trust between Samba DC and Windows DC
Hi, I have a problem with Samba. I use Samba 4.1.17 (because my company's security policy deny Samba upgrade) on Debian. I created a Samba Active Directory Domain Cotroller with linux.local and a Windows Active Directory Domain Controller with windows.local domain (I used Windows Server 2012 R2). I am need to create a smb share in Linux and autheticate users from windows.local domain and need

RODBC and Table views
This question relates to the use of the RODBC package for retrieving data from a MS Access database. It is quite easy to retrieve data sitting in tables but is it possible to select from views based on these tables? The archives do not touch on this point. sqlTables() lets me see tables and views but only the tables yield data. Do I need to recreate these views on the R side of the connection?

Phabricator new review email behaviour change?
Hi, Is it me, or has Phabricator changed at some point in the past week or two with regards to emails for newly created reviews? I noticed this morning that my mailing rule (which previously simply marked new emails from review at reviews.llvm.org with a specific tag) was no longer working for them, and consequently, I missed several new review requests. (It wasn't an issue for subsequent

The emails I get from phab *have* an attached patch file. That was a hard requirement when we first set up Phabricator. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

odfWeave UTF-8 error and latin characters
Hello R masters, I have sent this same message to other lists and none so far could give some light. I was trying to use odfWeave to generate a report from R and Im getting an error that I think is related to latin characters. I looked around and did find some stuff related to this problem about Sweave http://labmoluscos.wordpress.com/2010/02/18/sweave-latex-character-encoding/ but did not find a

Hello! I would like to know if R can solve Differential Equations... I don't think so because, in my point, I see R like a Statistical System, not a Math System. Am I wrong? Thank you very much. Defining a variable outside of optim or differential equation solver.
This is applicable to either using optim or the differential equation solver or any similar solver Suppose I want to use the differential equation solver and this is my code d<-y[2] vdpol<-function(t,y) { list(c(1, d, 3, 4 ) } stiff<-ode(y=rep(0,4),times=c(0,1),func=dvdpol,parms=1) The thing is I want d to be composed of one of state variables in the

Statistics of count data for differential expression
Hi All, This is more of a general statistics question that I am not so sure about so I need some thoughts from you experts out there. I have Chip-Seq read count data for 2 different treatments (T1 and T2) and my final aim is to calculate differential expression between them. I also have Chip-Seq read count data from a "control / wild type (C)" experiment. I have 3 replicates (2
