[lld] section attributes lld can use to safely drop a section from obj files
Hello llvm\lld, The autlolink feature in swift appends a section to the obj files (.swift1_autolink_entries) that is later need to determine what t link against in the final linked binary. I am trying to get rid of these section in the final linked binary at link time. [LLVMdev] building LLVM 1.6 on Debian unstable ...
Hi, Tried to build the 1.6 release on Debian unstable, but ran into link problems for some utils ... Copying the messages when building llc, the same error occurs for lli, llvm-db and some of the examples. Is this a problem with the compiler version? LLVMSelectionDAG.o itself builds correctly. make[2]: Entering directory `/home/sameerds/data/llvm-1.6/tools/llc' llvm[2]: Linking Debug

importing data from Excel using RODBC
Hi, I used RODBC to import data from an Excel spreadsheet "*.xls", but some columns were returned as zeros. When I looked at these columns in Excel, I found that thery are results of formula calculations and not entry. My question is: Is there any parameter or command I need to use in order to overcome this problem? Thank you Ahmad Abu Hammour

Durbin-Watson test in packages "car" and "lmtest"
Hi, P-values in Durbin-Watson test obtained through the use of functions available in packages "lmtest" and "car" are different. The difference is quite significant. function "dwtest" in "lmtest" is much faster than "burbinwatson" in "car". Actually, you can take a nap while the latter trying to calculated Durbin-Watson test. My question

Memory scope proposal
Hi, I have updated the review here: https://reviews.llvm.org/D21723 As Sameer pointed out, the motivation is: In OpenCL 2.x, two atomic operations on the same atomic object need to have the same scope to prevent a data race. This derives from the definition of "inclusive scope" in OpenCL 2.x. Encoding OpenCL 2.x scope as metadata in LLVM IR would be a problem because there cannot be a

[LLVMdev] [RFC][PATCH][OPENCL] synchronization scopes redux
I've not had a good chance to look at the patches in detail, but just to clarify one point: I don't really care whether we number things going up or down from single threaded to "every thread". I just think it makes sense to expose them in the in-memory IR interface as an enum with a particular ordering so that code can use the obvious sorts of tests for comparing two orderings
