upgrade dash to newer version?
We still appear to be missing the following dash commit:

MPEG DASH
This document from Qualcomm may help.
http://www.qualcomm.com/media/documents/qualcomm-dash-licensing-commitment
it states :
Companies will not have to pay royalties or license fees because they have
implemented the DASH Standard using Qualcomm's DASH Essential Patents
within a standalone software application sold and distributed separately
from a product capable of implementing a WWAN

yes, indeed upgrading dash is the best way.
In the past, we imported latest dash from time to time.

MPEG DASH
Daniel, I won't make any points regarding DASH's fit with Icecast, but I
wanted to address your statement that there is no purpose for adaptive
streaming.
Cell phone connections are fairly terrible and inconsistent. Even if you
have a solid signal on a 4G technology, you could walk around a corner and
it will disappear. What works at 3mbit/s one minute might be 10kbit/s the
next.

Bug#470929: dhcp: interface names can have dash in them
Package: logcheck-database
Version: 1.2.54
Severity: normal
I recently created a bridge with the name xen-local. The DHCP server gets requests
via this bridge.
I got spammed with logcheck messages about DHCPREQUESTS and the lot because the name
of the interface in the logcheck-database does not match on names with a dash in it.

[RFC] klibc dash merge
Hello,
Since klibc dash last merge is a bit dated yesterday I resyncronised
the dash in klibc repo from dc2bc17c7bbe3188cfb0c695dc472b39bcf0b27a
up to ec2c84d3c4dba4b74440d72bdd1de416a9acd2a9 commit.
Please test it:
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/libs/klibc/klibc-queue.git
http://git.kernel.org/?p=libs/klibc/klibc-queue.git;a=shortlog
Without objections this will land in klibc-1.5.23.

Just got defrauded - how do I block calls which contain a dash (RegEx noob question)
Hi list,
I'm using Asterisk2Billing (v2.0.16) and it appears to have an annoying
bug. When there are rates for e.g. 44 (UK landline) and 44870 (UK
premium) and a fraudster manages to somehow dial 44-870 instead of 44870
the rate for 44 will match, not the one for 44870.
So, I would like to block all calls on a dialplan level that contain a
dash. -44, 4-4, 44-, 44---, -, ---, just

Kickstart and volume group with a dash in the name
Hi,
I'm trying to setup the provisioning of new OpenStack hypervisors with
cinder volumes on them. The problem is that kickstart doesn't allow
dashed in volume group names?
I tried this:
volgroup cinder-volumes --pesize=4096 pv.02
and this:
volgroup cinder--volumes --pesize=4096 pv.02
but in both cases I end up with a volume group named "cindervolumes" on
the system. Any

[git pull] dash, sh4, README's
hello hpa,
pushed out new patch queue :)
It contains the sync with latest dash git, renaming of some README's
to ease their packaging, sparc32 socket test and a sh4 fix by Debian
porters (numbers of changes is huge, but mostly contained in dash).
git pull git://git.debian.org/users/maks/klibc.git maks
initramfs-tools seems happy with that version of dash,
saw no regression on boot test with
