Yes, as mentioned earlier I was able to generate final executable but

Debug symbols are missing in elf
Hi James,
Thanks for reply.
When I looked in to the generated debug dump from the object file I
found that DW_AT_name is always (indirect string, offset: 0x0): clang
version 8.0.1, instead of variable names.
Below is a sample output of the debug dump.
Compilation Unit @ offset 0x0:
Length: 0x6a (32-bit)
Version: 4
Abbrev Offset: 0x0

[LLVMdev] Help with a Microblaze code generation problem.
Sorry if this is a duplicate: I tried to send it last night and it
didn't go through. I'm trimming some text to see if it helps.
I have a simple program that fails on the Microblaze:
int main()
{
unsigned long long x, y;
x = 100;
y = 0x8000000000000000ULL;
return !(x > y);
}
As you can see, the test case compares two unsigned long long values. To
try to track

[LLVMdev] Need help trying to generate mblaze code.
Hello,
this is a very dump question, I hope to do more valuable question soon, but
for now I'm just trying to run a simple hello world in C for clang and llvm
to the target mblaze, but is not working.
( I need to change the compiler in the next stage)
I past all the weekend tried to run this, and I was unable, I did the build
of llVM/clang, but no bin was generate, only silly folder that I

target porting : objdump is not giving proper registers.
Hi,
we have seen proper register numbers when we have generated assembly files
through clang but
when we generated dump files from object file then we didn't see expected
register numbers.
Note : all registers are replaced with R0

Can you please explain what is happening? It sounds like a bug we should
fix.

Help understanding and lowering LLVM IDS conditional codes correctly
Note: Question is written after describing what I have coded.
Hello LLVMDevs,
I am trying to impliment floating point comparsion for an architecture which
supports following type of floating point comparision if FPU is available:
fcmp.un --> true if one of the operand is NaN
fcmp.lt --> ordered less than, if any input NaN then return false
fcmp.eq --> ordered equal, if any input NaN

Which files are really hard links and which not?

Newbie question - running MSMONEY fails.
Hi,
I've recently installed the latest version of WINE (from LinuxFormat
Mag), and I can run some app's (sol.exe, notepad etc). However, when
I try to run 'larger' apps I run into problems. Specifically I'm
trying to run MSMONEY 2001.
I cd to c:/program files/microsoft money/system
then run
wine --winver win98 msmoney.exe
and I get the following:

libvirt and lvm thin pool
Hi all. I'm using libvirt 1.2.6
I want to use lvm storage for my virtual machines.
But i want to use new lvm2 feature - thin pool. How can i do that in
libvirt? If libvirt can't create it via pool xml, does (and how) to
use this setup under libvirt?

vfork support: need help on arm, parisc, s390
Hello all,
I really want to support vfork() in klibc, mostly because uClinux *has*
to use it. Unfortunately vfork() isn't allowed to use the stack *at
all* across the system call -- including return address -- which means
it needs an assembly wrapper on most architectures.
I have tried implementing wrappers for most architectures, but I don't
know parisc or s390/s390x well enough,

R.xpm?
I use AfterStep on Linux. I made an R.xpm file (attached)
and put this icon in the "wharf". To invoke R I click on the R icon.
I did not find an offical R.xpm, and so I am submitting this one
for your collective consideration....
The idea behind the icon is that it looks like a scatterplot, which is
"statistical". My main beefs with my R.xpm are that it doesn't have a

[LLVMdev] distinguishing between real arguments and variable arguments
I'm doing the delay slot optimization for MIPS and I've noticed that two
other ports that are doing this have to work around a problem in the
instruction abstraction.
Would be nice to fix this and not propagate the hack.
The basic problem is that on a call, you want to get the set of explicit
and implicit operands but NOT the variable operands.
There is no way do this without
