RFC: Loadable segments watermark for lld
The ELF file header isn't always covered by a segment but still affects loading. I think everything else that effects loading/dynamic linking is always covered by a PT_LOAD segment. As evidence this is basically what --strip-sections in llvm-strip and eu-strip do and they produce perfectly runnable binaries. Having a hash of the actual memory map is interesting IMO. Build IDs can't really

Attachment_fu - watermark tmp file before saved to S3
Hi there, I''d like to use RMagick to watermark an image in the tmp directory before Attachment_fu saves it to Amazon S3. I took a look at the callbacks available in attachment_fu. There''s an ''after_attachment_saved'' method but this would be too late, and a ''before_thumbnail_saved'' but this is no good because it''s for thumbnails. I

Print Options & CUPS - Can't stop watermarking?
Greetings, I have just set up samba printing with CUPS as the back end. (Samba 2.2.8a, CUPS 1.1.9) Everything works great, including automatic driver download/Point -n- Print. The problem is that whenever I print through Samba from a Windows 2000 Workstation, a watermark gets added to the print job. The default driver options are set on the server, so that watermarking is "off",

Using grImport to create a watermark
Hi… I want to use grImport to create a watermark on a plot() using the methods Paul Murrell describes here: http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/grImport/vignettes/import.pdf (page 28). I can essentially reproduce this manually at the R prompt, and independently I can use grid.picture(…) successfully in a R script, but when I attempt to do do this in my script: • • •

building a pdf with an existing pdf as watermark/background
I''m starting on a small rails app and i need to generate a report in pdf format. i''ve generated pdfs before using pdf::writer without much problems, but for this project the company sent me a pdf ''watermark'' (or background template) that they want the report to be printed on.. instead of having them stock a bunch of the template stationary and have that paper

File_column, RMagick, and watermarking
I''m working on a photo gallery and I''m using File_column to handle the uploads of the files and create my thumbnails, but does anyone here have any idea how to have a watermark (opaque text maybe) placed over one of the versions? Any ideas on how to go about this would be great. Even if it''s just straight RMagick code, that would be fine too. Thanks in advance for the

watermarks
Hi, I would like to plot a graph which sits in the background as a watermark with other plots in the foreground - on top. I have looked through the threads on the r-project website but they seem to concern background colours rather than actual background plots. I have also searched through the demo's and pars but can't find any eg's any ideas - I only want to plot a simple graph

LLVMHello doesn't work - Loadable modules
When I build LLVM, the message LLVMHello ignored -- Loadable modules not supported on this platform is shown and the LLVM Hello pass doesn't work. I am using Windows. Is this correct? LLVM Hello pass works only on Linux? Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

[LLVMdev] --enable-optimized breaks pass registration for dynamically loadable passes?
Hello all, Is it well known that building LLVM with --enable-optimized causes RegisterPass calls to be removed from dynamically loadable libraries (i.e., those built with LOADABLE_MODULE=1)? For example, here's what happens to the Hello pass (ToT on Darwin, both with and without --enable-optimized): $ pwd /Users/ransford/llvm/lib/Transforms/Hello $ nm -j Release+Asserts/Hello.o | c++filt -p

[LLVMdev] Automatic Loadable Linker Optimization Modules
Hi, I'm soliciting feedback on a design feature for llvm-ld, loadable linker optimization modules. The Problem: The llvm-ld tool expects that the bytecode files it is linking to already have been compile-time optimized appropriately. When it links all the bytecode together, it needs to apply link-time optimizations, if appropriate. The problem is, because of various front-ends involved,

[LLVMdev] Z3 and loadable optimization
I created a loadable optimization following the tutorial at http://llvm.org/docs/WritingAnLLVMPass.html. I want to use the Z3 library, installed in my system, in my optimization. When I include z3++.h (the name of the library) in the code and use its classes, it compiles well, but when I try to run it it says: > opt: symbol lookup error: /home/giacomo/llvm/Debug+Asserts/lib/Acsl.so: >

Externally loadable Alias Analysis pass
Hello, I am currently working with the implementation of CFL Andersen algorithmand I am trying to do some improvements to the Andersen algorithm. I would like to create loadable module .so and run clang with my e.g. "cfl-anders-improved.so" to avoid the "long" way - generating IR, running opt with my improved algorithm to generate optimalized code and then building it. [LLVMdev] loadable passes with dependencies?
I'm writing a Pass that I would like to remain loadable by opt. The pass also requires DominatorTree(for PromoteMemToReg). Looking for examples the only way I found to require a dependecny is by doing something like this: char Hello::ID = 0; namespace llvm { void initializeHelloPass(llvm::PassRegistry&); } INITIALIZE_PASS_BEGIN(Hello, "hello", "Hello
