While I'm Thinking About metaflac...
While I'm playing around with it, I'd like to ask about something I've noticed. Sometimes when I use metaflac to add tags, it performs it's operation instantly in a split second. Other times the same command causes lot of HDD I/O's and I can see it create a "filename.flac.metadata_edit" temp file. For example - I just added tags to a 25MB file and it took 15 seconds

I copied the samba password file from the Fedora installation and also all user+machine accounts to the /etc/passwd|shadow etc. Problem I now have is that clients cannot find their server profiles

So I burnt another & the same thing happened. So using the same disk burner & the same batch of disks, I burnt a copy of a Debian 7.1 netinstall & it

Wine CD-ROM on Mac OS X
Can Wine access DVD-RW devices natively on Mac OS X like it can on Linux? I was using Wine in Linux to run ImgBurn and it worked great, but I recently switched to Snow Leopard and I don't know how to configure this. I tried adding the Volume that was mounted by Finder. I tried adding /dev/disk2. Neither worked. I really like ImgBurn and do not want to abandon it if possible. Thanks.
