XP not obeying Samba file perms
Hi List, I have an unusual problem concerning the Windows XP "Rotate" image explorer shell extension. I have a share called "Archives" defined with a number of sub-directories. Whilst I have read/write permission to all directories, I am unable to use the Windows XP "Rotate Clockwise" or "Rotate Counter Clockwise" image command on JPG's contained

[LLVMdev] Problem regarding AsmPrinter registration
Hi, I am trying to add a small new backend for LLVM. For assembly printing, I have derived a class from AsmTarget, struct LLVM_LIBRARY_VISIBILITY Asd_ARMAsmPrinter : public AsmPrinter After creating all the bits and pieces, I was trying to use this to print the assembly for a sample program. Though I was getting weird errors. I tried looking for the problem and found that the my target

[LLVMdev] More careful treatment of floating point exceptions
Hi Sanjay, Thanks, I saw this flag and it's definitely should be considered, but it appeared to me to be static characteristic of target platform. I'm not sure how appropriate it would be to change its value from a front-end. It says "Has", while optional flag would rather say "Uses" meaning that implementation cares about floating point exceptions. Regards, Sergey

REPOST: all machine password changes fail
More information: I managed to get an ethereal capture of the conversation between a workstation and the samba PDC during an attempted machine password change. I tried posting it as an attachment, but I guess the list won't accept that. I would be happy to e-mail it to a developer or anyone else who is willing to have a look and see if the explanation to the problem is in there. The file is

drawing arrows with rgl
Hi, I am looking for a package which allows me to draw arrows (cylinders with cones on them, basically) in 3d images produced with rgl. Is such a thing available? I did notice the 'compositions' package, which contains 'arrow3D'. However, it relies on 'tensorA', which fails to install on my machine with the error message copied below. If anyone can help me fix this

Page allocation failure
Dear list, I am seeing an error across multiple machines during heavy I/O, either disk or network. The VMs are on different Intel CPUs (Core 2 Quad, Core i5, Xeon) with varying boards (Abit, Asus, Supermicro). Machines that get this error are running either BackupPC, Zabbix (MySQL) or SABNZBd. I can also reproduce the error on the Supermicros with a looped wget of an ubuntu ISO as they are

Implementation of vorbis using only the documentation
Reinventing the wheel is fun. I've just got working a (sort of) complete implementation of vorbis using (very nearly) only the documentation. This was quite easy overall as the documentation is very comprehensive and clear. Nice job, whoever put it together! The one spot I had some trouble with was the low level residue decode. The pseudo code at

[LLVMdev] More careful treatment of floating point exceptions
Hi again, It's partially done. My concern is that it won't be accepted as is because of adding the flag parameter in a lot of places. I'd like to show what it looks like (here, not on llvm-commit yet), maybe someone could suggest a better way. There are two sources of the flag: field of TargetOptions and function attribute. I had to add the later one for InstCombine pass. Still

I have continous oom&panic situation unresolved. I am not sure system fills up all the ram (36GB). Why this system triggered this oom situation? Is it about some other memory? highmem? lowmem? stack size?
