Can someone explain how samba handles permissions?
Can someone explain the following behavior. I don't understand
windows permissions very well, so I'm not sure if the following is a
problem or considered normal.
I have a directory called sigmaproj on my samba server; ls -la gives
the following information:
14 drwxrwxrwx 31 bkelly users 6656 Sep 17 16:12 sigmaproj
in this directory is a file:
2 -rw-r--r-- 1 dvorak users

llvm-pdbdump proposal
I came across a PDB that caused llvm-pdbdump to crash. I tracked it down
to a missing overload for a data type in the variable printer. When I
tried to provide an implementation, I discovered that there were some bugs
in the existing overloads and it was easy to come up with combinations of
types that weren't being dumped right. I created some test cases and tried
to fix these problems but

[PATCH] add generic callbacks into compaction
I sent a patch about page allocation for less fragmentation.
http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.mm/130599
It proposes a page allocator allocates pages in the same pageblock
for the drivers to move their unmovable pages. Some drivers which comsumes many pages
and increases system fragmentation use the allocator to move their pages to
decrease fragmentation.

Anyone know the package name that contains the perl PDF parser? I just had
two users come begging me to install it instantly, and I can't find it.

[LLVMdev] Using address space attribute in LLVM
Hello,
What is the correct way to use address_space attribute? For CLANG, I used
the below code, but when I tried the same with LLVM, I got a warning.
Thanks in advance,
Juan Carlos

Code used:
#define GS_RELATIVE __attribute__((address_space(256)))
int foo(int GS_RELATIVE *P) {
return *P;
}
int main(){
return (1);

[ELF] String literals don't obey -fdata-sections
Hi there,
When I compile my code with -fdata-sections and -ffunction-sections, I
still see some unused string in my shared library (Android). Actually,
the strings appear together inside a .rodata.str1.1 section instead of
getting their own section. It seems that the C-string literal are
considered differently than other constant and the -fdata-sections is
not respected in

Does this patch fix any failures for you? It doesn't fix that test case,
