[RFC] Implementing asm-goto support in Clang/LLVM
(and FWIW, I'm currently trying to finish the patch that makes this a reality... mostly hard because it has to unwind a loooot of complexity we've built up due to not having this) On Sat, Nov 3, 2018 at 5:47 PM Jeremy Lakeman via llvm-dev < llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote: > http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2018-May/123407.html > > TLDR; CallInst & InvokeInst

[cfe-dev] [RFC] ASM Goto With Output Constraints
I think this is fine, except that it stops at the point where things actually start to get interesting and tricky. How will you actually handle the flow of values from the callbr into the error blocks? A callbr can specify requirements on where its outputs live. So, what if two callbr, in different branches of code, specify _different_ constraints for the same output, and list the same block as a

What about SelectionDAG representation? Currently we expand callbr to INLINEASM_BR and BR. Both of which are terminators. But in order to support outputs we would need to put CopyFromReg nodes between them. ~Craig On Thu, Jun 27, 2019 at 12:18 PM Nick Desaulniers via cfe-dev < cfe-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote: > + CBL mailing list > > > On Thu, Jun 27, 2019 at 11:08 AM Bill

docs-llvm-html broken?
Hi, docs seem to be broken. e.g. r353563 adds docs for callbr, but https://llvm.org/docs/LangRef.html doesn't have it. trying to build the docs manually on my box: ninja docs-llvm-html FAILED: docs/CMakeFiles/docs-llvm-html cd /usr/local/google/home/kcc/llvm-build/docs && /usr/bin/sphinx-build -b html -d /usr/local/google/home/kcc/llvm-build/docs/_doctrees-llvm-html -q -W

[LLVMdev] How to extract the starting address of each basic block with llvm?
Dear all, I use the clang frontend to produce the control flow graph of a C program through this command: clang -Xclang -analyze -Xclang -analyzer-checker=debug.DumpCFG test.c The produced information contains all the basic blocks identified by labels, e.g. B1, B2, etc. along with their predecessors and successors. Is there a way to get the starting address of each of these basic block? I would

llvm pass is very slow
Hi I write a LLVM function pass. The pass will loop the basicblock in the function, check the instruction's type with dyn_cast<switchinst>, print the instruction and the basicblock's successors. I think it is not very complex. My bitcode file is about 30M. My CPU is i7-7700(3.6GHz). It has been running for 60 hours but it is still running. I am not sure whether this is a normal

Why MachineBasicBlcok doesn't have transferPredecessors() ?
for example I want to insert a new machine bb “before” a specific machine bb. or split a mbb and keep the later one as the original one. (to keep the label/Blackadder's correct t) (or keep other property of mbb) so I need to transfer the original mbb's predecessor to the new mbb. boolean button helper
I don''t have a blog, but wanted to share this little bit of code with other semi-beginners like myself who are still learning to take advantage of rails features. Selecting an attribute with a boolean switch is a common pattern in forms. You can do it with a check box, but radio buttons are more expressive in some situations and better convey to the user that they are making a mandatory

[cfe-dev] Create a BlockAddress array from LLVM Pass
Sorry for emailing both group. As I will have a constant array of BlockAddress, what type I should use in Constant Array for its ArrayType declaration? I am creating the list in following way: unsigned int nBr = fit->second.size(); llvm::Constant *listBA[nBr]; unsigned int Idx = 0; for (std::set<llvm::BasicBlock *>::iterator it = fit->second.begin(); it != fit->second.end(); ++it)

Create a BlockAddress array from LLVM Pass
Hi Good day. For the following function local static constant array: static const __attribute__((used)) __attribute__((section("data"))) void *codetable[] = { &&RETURN, &&INCREMENT, &&DECREMENT, &&DOUBLE, &&SWAPWORD}; I have the following in the LLVM IR. @sampleCode.codetable = internal global [5 x i8*] [i8* blockaddress(@sampleCode, %19), i8*

Question concerning llvm::BlockAddress class
Hi all, I have a question concerning block address class in LLVM. I am currently working on a project where I need to obtain and manipulate basic block virtual addresses. I was searching the web and found the llvm::BlockAddress class (http://llvm.org/doxygen/classllvm_1_1BlockAddress.html). With this class I was able to obtain a printout like this: i8* blockaddress(@func_name, %bb_label) How do

Inconsistency with LANMAN1 and Samba 4.9
Dear samba team, I have a lot of hobby projects including old PCs. I wanted to hook up a Win3.11 machine to my current Arch-Linux Workstation running samba 4.9.4. I have used the following configuration: [global] workgroup = HOMEBASE netbios name = Orcane wins support = Yes client signing = No domain master = No lanman auth = Yes log file = /var/log/samba/%m.log max log size = 50 name
