Carlo, Thank you for your contribution! We don't usually commit any feature without a test, so can you write a test for us? Then I think I can commit this for you. Best inode_ratio for maildir++ on ext4
Hi, This might be a silly question: which would be the best inode ratio for a 5 Tb filesystem dedicated to Maildir++ storage? I use ubuntu server, which has a preconfigured setting for mkfs.ext4 called "news" with inode_ratio = 4096, and after formating the fs with that setting and then with the defautl setting I see this difference of space (wasted space, but more inodes): 4328633696

[Release-testers] 5.0.1-rc2 has been tagged
Zig tests using Debug build of 5.0.1rc2 hit this bug: https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34452 I suppose the fix has not been backported to 5.0.1. So I created a Release build of 5.0.1rc2 and all zig tests pass, with the following patches: * Patches to LLD: commit a206ef34bbbc46017e471063a4a1832c1ddafb0a Author: Andrew Kelley <superjoe30 at gmail.com> Date: Fri Dec 1 12:11:55 2017

[RFC 0/2] virtio_pci: patches never to apply.
This should allow testing when QEMU gets VIRTIO_PCI_CAP_PCI_CFG support, but I'm pretty sure we should never allow these patches upstream. Tested with lguest (in virtio-next), which supports VIRTIO_PCI_CAP_PCI_CFG. Rusty Russell (2): virtio_pci: abstract all MMIO accesses. virtio: Introducing virtio_pci.no_mmio, the worst boot option in history. drivers/virtio/virtio_pci_common.c |

Hi all, I'm using libvirt with qemu-kvm and virtualbox on the same system. Everything is working, but I want to change the default uri fo virsh. At the moment, if i run: # virsh uri vbox:///system and because of this, if I try to list my vm(s) in this way: # virsh list --all Id Name State ---------------------------------- the output is empty. Some questions from a new webgen user
Hi everyone. Sorry if it is not the place to post questions about webgen. If i use lsof command i see plenty of log samba files into /var/log/samba wich are very big, i have - to kill the process given by lsof associated to log samba

Sorry, I was thinking to review the test but didn't. Is this test complete? It does invoke lld, but it didn't verify its output. Site5 Hosting: Defautl Root Directory for site
Just signed up for hosting with Site5. So far the service has been great, but one question I had couldn''t be answered by the tech support. I need to change the default root directory of my site from public_html to a rails directory (i.e. foo/app/public). The tech support suggested mod_rewrite. Any other suggestions on ways to accomplish this? Thanks, Nathan -------------- next

[PATCH v3 0/4] iomap: Constify ioreadX() iomem argument
Hi, Multiple architectures are affected in the first patch and all further patches depend on the first. Maybe this could go in through Andrew Morton's tree? Changes since v2 ================ 1. Drop all non-essential patches (cleanups), 2. Update also drivers/sh/clk/cpg.c . Changes since v1 ================ https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/1578415992-24054-1-git-send-email-krzk at

"could not connect to host - localhost"
Hi All: I'm running Mandrake 8.1 (downloaded) and the install went fine. Configuring Samba however is another story. I get the message "could not connect to host - localhost" on the Linux box. I cannot see the network from the Linux system. The Linux system is visable from Win'98SE as are the shares but I cannot access them "password is incorrect". This does not
