[Openmp-dev] [cfe-dev] RFC: Proposing an LLVM subproject for parallelism runtime and support libraries
I've put together a proposed "charter" for this new project, which I am
calling parallel_utils (although I'm very open to suggestions for a better
name). The text of my charter is below, and I welcome any input on how it
can be improved.

[cfe-dev] [Openmp-dev] RFC: Proposing an LLVM subproject for parallelism runtime and support libraries
I talked to Chandler about the name "offload_libs" vs "parallel_libs" and
he said he thinks "offload" is too narrow of a term for the scope he sees
for this subproject. One example he brought up was AVX 512. He thinks that
code explicitly targeting CPU parallelism should also be included in this
project, even though it doesn't fit in the category of

[Bug 505] iptables-save still doesn't like quotes
https://bugzilla.netfilter.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=505
------- Additional Comments From mbr@cipherdyne.org 2007-03-24 06:01 MET -------
I've tested the proposed patch against the iptables-1.3.7 source, and find that
it works in the reported broken case:
# iptables -A INPUT -m string --algo kmp --string 111\"222 -j LOG
# ./iptables-save > ipt.out
# ./iptables-restore

openSUSE Asterisk Packages
Does anyone know who maintains the asterisk packages in the openSUSE
buildservice? They are not updating Zaptel with their kernel updates
and I want to get that matter corrected.
I submitted to them a bug report but they seem to not care...

24 hours a bugreport is assigned or some sort of comment is made.

Request advise regarding Driver for Intel Motherboard
Hello All
I made the mistake of assuming all Intel motherboards would be Linux
compatible out of the box and bought one without checking support
information. And now on initial install the Network is not
working....the Network port is not detected at all.
I have bought an Intel board DG41RQI
(http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/DG41RQ/index.htm)
which does not support Linux Out of

passing variable to formula environment
List gurus,
I'm trying to code a Gompertz growth curve function as part of a larger
project and have run across a problem due to my ignorance of
environments. Some sample data and the function are as follows:

It took some time...
For those who are using SuSE:
At last they've managed to create ready-to-run packages for
openSUSE_11.1. They are there since a couple of hours...
(For other versions it was allready available for some time on the OBS)

gomp library with Rtools212
Dear developers,
I am a maintainer of the CORElearn package which uses OpenMP multithreading
to speed up some computations. When producing a new release we tested the
package with the latest R 2.12.0. On Linux the package works normally. On
Windows we installed a recommended version of Rtools (Rtools212) but the
linker fails with the messages below.
