HP/Compaq T700H UPS cable pinout
Hello all,
I have obtained a Compaq T700 H UPS sans-cable. My research indicates it
would've come with a HP #201092-001 cable, and from previous posts on
this list, it speaks upscode2, possibly being a rebadged Eaton unit.
Any suggestions for cable pinouts I can try?

Loop back cable pinout 15 Pin Serial
I am trying to test the T1 card in our legacy PBX but the connector to the
card is a 15 pin serial cable. I would like to make it myself so I can try
this test today. Does anyone have a pinout for it?
I just made a T1 RJ-45 loop back to test my TE110P and it tested out fine.
I'm trying to resolve some timing issues and a tech from Digium is going to
ssh in and walk around my asterisk server

Results of an incorrect crossover pinout??
Say I had a crossover cable that connected a Mitel SX200 to a TE110P and the
pinout was done as such:
1 - 4
2 - 5
5 - 1
4 - 2
(the 5 and 4 are transposed on the left side)
Instead of the proper way of:
1 - 4
2 - 5
4 - 1
5 - 2
What would the results be? We have had the former as our cabling for a few
months and the connection has been fine. Slip errors here and there. But we
have had major

Pinouts for T1/E1 crossover cable WAS "RE: what cable to connect a legacy PBX to a TE410P ?"
At Sangoma we do quite a lot of back-to back T1 and E1
connections. T1 is not a very fussy connection, as the baud
rate is only about 750 kbps.
In our experience, for error free communications you can use
the following rules of thumb:
Up to 50 ft: Flat patch cable
Up to 500 ft: Ordinary twisted telephone cable Cat 5 may be
overkill unless you are going hundreds of feet.

I have used cross-connect wire from the spool to make T1 crossover cables with RJ45 ends. All that matters is that pin one goes to four and two goes to five on both ends.

The "telco guys" probably did something non-industry standard and reversed send and receive in the jack that they plugged the CAT5 into. Sure it works, sure it is easier, sure it is not the correct way of doing things.
Thanks,
Steve

I for one think it is a great idea to buy a book with hard earned money and wait a few days to a week just to get an answer to a question that is freely available on the internet immediately.
Hard pressed to think of anything in the "book" that is not on with wiki with more up to date and useful information.

OT: pinout for "standard" telephone headset required.?
Hi,
I have a Cisco 7960G phone for which I know the pinout of the headset socket.
I have a couple of standard telephone headsets which I do not know the
pinout of.
I'd like to connect the two. If I have the pinout of a normal/standard
headset I can
rewire the ones I have to match the cisco.
Thanks

Has anyone connected to 7960 with console cable for setup?
I have a Cisco 7960 phone. I cannot seem to use the settings button to get
into the phone to change the TFTP server. I've set up a DHCP Server, TFTP
Server with the same address, and the phone requests the address of 0.0.0.0,
the server offers the address of 192.168.2.2, but the phone seems not to
take it.
I have no action on the TFTP side.
So, since I can't seem to server the phone

Powercom BNT-600AP and NUT (powercom driver)
Hello,
I'm new there. I bought an UPS Powercom BNT-600AP. It's compatible
in NUT with driver powercom and protocol type KIN1500AP.
But I have a simple problem: the 'upsc' shows wrong values in
battery.charge (maybe in other rows also /ups.load, voltages?/) - if
battery is 100% charged it shows only 92.6% or 93.0%.
I thing I have wrong values in driver parameters: batteryPercentage,

TDM400 w/ FXS S110M pinout on RJ11 connector?
Hi all,
I just got my long awaited FXS modules for a TDM400 card, and was a bit
puzzled about how my phones and the FXS interface worked together. Here
goes:
In Sweden (that's where I am located) phones traditionally are connected in
daisy chain configuration. This means that a phone in on-hook condition
passes the line through back onto the outer pair of the RJ11, back into the
wall

TDM11B pinout
Hi Asterisk Community,
I have a development with a TDM11B in it. I am trying to connect this to a
exchange line as well as a UK telephone and are looking for some pinout
information for the FXS port. Is it the centre 2 pins that at the tip and ring.
I have been digging around the Digium site but cannot seem to pick up this info.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

PowerCom BNT-600AP on ubuntu 12.04.1 AMD64
Hello people,
I use a BNT-600AP from PowerCom, and on driver loading (nut service
start) the UPS goes off so I cannot use nut as service as the computer
goes off with the UPS.
When the computer is not using the UPS, but still connected, I see that
the UPS goes off for a very short time, does battery check and goes on
again.
I don't know how to deal with this issue as I cannot use my UPS
