Buildbot General Failure - Production Stop?

It's only been a few days and that includes a weekend. Of course. I'll wait until all our bots return from the first round to know the size of the damage. I just wanted to warn all other buildbot owners

Buildbot cleaning for zorg upgrade
Hello everyone, Zorg upgrade to a recent version of buildbot is coming. We would do our best to make the transition as smooth and transparent to the majority of LLVM community, as possible. The process will be handled similar to how we did the github transition. As the next step, we will be cleaning zorg. All the code, which is not currently in use in the public build bot, will be removed. If

Revisions that cause buildbot problems but aren't on blame lists
Hi, I've had this problem on a compiler-rt change too. It was on the clang-cmake-mips builder earlier this week. ________________________________________ From: llvm-dev [llvm-dev-bounces at lists.llvm.org] on behalf of Renato Golin via llvm-dev [llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org] Sent: 30 October 2015 08:34 To: Bill Seurer Cc: LLVM Dev Subject: Re: [llvm-dev] Revisions that cause buildbot problems

[cfe-dev] Upcoming upgrade of LLVM buildbot
Hi Paula, This error is fine. The buildbot has tested the worker version. 0.8.x apparently does not have that method. The error gets handled gracefully on the server side. At least it seems so so far. That should not prevent your bot from connecting. Thanks Galina On Thu, Oct 8, 2020 at 2:11 PM Paula Askar <paulatoth at google.com> wrote: > Hey Andrzej, > > What are you seeing

[cfe-dev] Upcoming upgrade of LLVM buildbot
Our Flang-aarch64 buildbots just won't connect to the main Buildbot master anymore. I switched them to the staging buildbot master instead and it seems fine for now. Is there anything that we can/should tweak at our end? http://lab.llvm.org:8014/#/waterfall?tags=flang -Andrzej On 08/10/2020 00:31, Galina Kistanova via cfe-dev wrote: > They are online now -

MLIR Buildbot configuration
Hi, I broke the MLIR build yesterday and the two Flang bots told me about it pretty much right away. Yay! That is how I always thought the setup should work (modulo that we all try not to break builds). Today I got emails from an MLIR bot and I was a bit confused. I looked at the configuration of the two MLIR bots and it seems they test commits one by one, with the backlog that you would

Great, good to know it's not just a problem with our bot. Thanks! buildbot failure in LLVM on clang-native-arm-cortex-a9
@Galina: It seems this bot is now almost permanently running into a compile-time timeout. Maybe you can fix this by either increasing the timeout or by switching to a cmake/ninja based build as suggested by Renato. +1 for batching. In practice it's probably more important that things get run for every MLIR checkin, and not necessarily for every LLVM checkin.
