Cpsups driver with a CyberPower OP1000E
Hi there
First a big thank you to all nut developers.
I tried the 2.0.4 as well as the 2.0.5-pre1 versions with my CyberPower OP1000E connected to a serial to USB converter. All I got was the following:
# /usr/local/ups/bin/upsdrvctl start

Network UPS Tools - CyberPower text protocol UPS driver .05 (2.0.5-pre1)

Problem with GeekSquad GS-1500 (Cyberpower 1500 avr lcd)
Hi,
I've installed Nut 2.0.5 on a RedHat 9 box.
I have a GeekSquad 1500 UPS. (GeekSquad is a BestBuy brand) I've found out
that
it's actually a CyberPower 1500 AVR LCD.
I'm using it with the serial cable.
I'm unable to get it working with any of the drivers provided with NUT.
I've tried cpsups, cyberpower and powerpanel.
here's the output of the different drivers

Hi
Recently i bought a MicroDoWell BP50, and with it followed a USB 2

usbcore: registered new interface driver usbhid
drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c: v2.6:USB HID core driver

CyberPower CP1200AVR/BC1200D problems
I recently purchased a CyberPower CP1200AVR UPS and am trying to get NUT
2.0.3 or NUT 2.1.0 to work with the newhidups driver, but am having
little success. Before I purchased I did some googling and saw people
talking about problems so I'm guessing it may not be supported yet? I
did find some posts about people getting it to (sort of) work with some
hacks, but couldn't tell if they

Status of cyberpower driver
Arjen,
I read the following in the upgrade notes and just wanted to see what the
status was for the cyberpower driver? The note reads:
- The cpsups and nitram drivers have been replaced by the powerpanel driver,
and removed from the tree. The cyberpower driver may suffer the same in the
future.
What does this mean to me -- a cyberpower user?

Working UPS report: Geek Squad GS-700U (Cyberpower clone?)
Hi,
I wanted to report some success with monitoring this UPS, a "Geek Squad"
brand GS-700U that I purchased earlier this year from Best Buy Canada.
Information about this... thing is very scarce so here is what I know:
The unit itself is probably made by Cyberpower. It has a 9-pin serial
port on the UPS, as well as a serial-USB adapter thing. I cracked open
the serial-USB

I am using nut 2.2.2 and I have a CyberPower CP550SL.

driver.parameter.port: /dev/ups
driver.parameter.upstype: 7

Cyberpower Drive in 2.2.0 Fedora 7
I know others have seen this before, I just never saw any real
resolution to it. I am not a programmer, or at the least a very bad one,
so I don't think this is something I can do properly myself.
I have a Cyberpower 1500 AVR rack mount that worked good, except for the
output voltage listing, with an older version of NUT (I don't remember
the version of NUT, but the O/s was Fedora

All,
I have a Cyberpower UPS that I have been working with for about a

connected VIA an RS232 cable.

cyberpower driver
I'm looking for people that are using the 'cyberpower' driver that has
been available for some years now. It seems the overhauled 'powerpanel'
driver could support your UPS too.
The commands and status bytes used are identical, the only difference
being the way the values read for battery charge, temperature and
frequency are interpreted. If we can find a way to detect when to

NUT with Cyber Power 700 AVR
I recently purchased a Cyber Power 700 AVR UPS. I installed it just fine
and wanted to install NUT to monitor the unit.
I searched the mailing
list and found a similar post. However, the distro used in that post was
different and the unit was slightly different (900 AVR).
My server is
running Debian Lenny. The Cyber Power UPS is connect to one of the serial

NUT support for CyberPower PR1500LCDRTXL2Ua
Hey all,
I ended up picking up the module listed in Subject line.
I switched over my config but apparently not all going smoothly.
My config is:

driver = powerpanel
port = /dev/ttyS0
desc = "Office UPS"
When I test the driver running power-panel as a test, I get:

removing cpsups
I've just noticed that cpsups isn't listed anymore in driver.list.
Any reason not have removed it from the source too?
Still on the way to 2.4; any update on your confidence level to remove
nitram and cyberpower too?
