[LLVMdev] PLEASE help with Alias Analysis initialization assertion at the end of my pass
Yes, it is a pass.
Here is a very general overview of the file structure as far as the AA is
concerned. LLVM is not my strong-suit, I do hardware simulators, not
compilers.
using namespace llvm;
char RelRecovery::ID = 0;
static RegisterPass<RelRecovery> X("relRecovery",
"Reliability transformation for lightweight recovery");

C++ debugging help needed
I've had reports lately about segfaults in the rgl package. I've only
been able to reproduce these on Linux. I am not so familiar with C++
details, so I have a couple of questions way down below. But first some
background info.
One recipe to recreate the crash works with a new version 5.0-1 of the
mixOmics package:

[LLVMdev] Assertion `AA && "AA didn't call InitializeAliasAnalysis in its run method!"' failed.
Hello all,
I am working with someone else's LLVM code, which is about 8 months old.
Part of this pass involves AliasAnalysis, and I'm getting the above
assertion when the pass completes.
The dump is as follows:

[LLVMdev] PLEASE help with Alias Analysis initialization assertion at the end of my pass
Hello all,
I really, really, really need your help. This is my third email now,
please don't ignore me! I understand this must be a trivial thing, but
I've ground to a halt, and REALLY need some guidance. Please see below for
the context of my problem. I'm not trying to be a waste of time, but I'm
desperate here.
I have a getAnalysisUsage method which does the following

segfault calling SDL_Init with FFI/ MCJIT
I'm getting a segfault when I call `SDL_Init( SDL_INIT_VIDEO )` within
the MCJIT. If I compile the same program to an EXE I don't have a problem.
Are there any general restrictions, or known issues, with loading a
library like SDL2 via the MCJIT? (LLVM-3.8 still)
The stack trace, from GDB, is below. I noticed the error actually
happens deep inside a transitively loaded GL drive module,

[LLVMdev] Suggestions for optimizations
Hello!
I was trying to optimize our automatically generated backend for Open
RISC and for this purpose I went through the
gcc torture testsuite.
There are many programs that are better optimized by LLVM, but some are
much better optimized by gcc 4.9.
The main limitations were is loop unrolling and structures handling.
Differences can be best seen e.g. when compiling for an

[LLVMdev] Function inline pass core dump when removing a function
Guys,
In this case, I wanted to hack globalopt pass to require ScalarEvolution
analysis. It seems ScalarEvolution is not released after globalopt pass,
and it will hold a reference to the basicblocks. Later when the function is
removed(by inline pass), coredump happened:
opt test.bc -mem2reg -globalopt -inline -loop-unroll -debug-pass Details -o
out.bc >& log
So it seems to me if a pass

Hello,
JIT compiler interferes with internal R completions:

dovecot-pigeonhole running external script ends with signal 11
Hi,
I'm running a dovecot 2.2.26 (self compiled) on a Centos 7.
I have a sieve script which should run an external script (in filter
mode) that encrypts the mail using the users pub key.
I configured 90-plugin.conf as follows
plugin {
sieve_plugins = sieve_extprograms
sieve_extensions = +vnd.dovecot.filter
sieve_filter_bin_dir = /etc/dovecot/sieve-filters

NFS deadlock on 9.2-Beta1
Two machines (NFS Server: running ZFS / Client: disk-less), both are running FreeBSD r253506. The NFS client starts to deadlock processes within a few hours. It usually gets worse from there on. The processes stay in "D" state. I haven't been able to reproduce it when I want it to happen. I only have to wait a few hours until the deadlocks occur when traffic to the client machine
