If I try to link HowToUseJIT.cpp against the JIT without also linking the interpreter, I get the following linker error: ld: Undefined symbols: __ZN4llvm11Interpreter6createEPNS_6ModuleEPNS_17IntrinsicLoweringE It's not obvious, from the source, what depends on this symbol, or why GenLibDep.pl didn't detect this dependency. So it is crucial to be able to properly clean up the memory from an old JITed function when JITing and running the new one. I am using Haskell binding of LLVM and my application works OK.
