Problems with Unitek Alpha 1000 Ps
Hello to all list members,
I'm trying to make my UPS work with nut-2.2.2 (using Debian Testing, but
compiled from source code) for a week ago, with not success. It's a
Unitek Alpha 1000Ps, and I supossed it would work with megatec_usb
driver, as other Unitek models. It has an USB interface, and when I plug
it into my system I've got this message:

MGE Evolution, USB and linux
I have a MGE Evolution 3000 connected via USB to a linux server (HP
Proliant G3). The server is running kernel 2.4.30 and nut-2.0.3. But
before nut trying to connect to the UPS, I guess HID doesn't work as
long as I get a message like this in dmesg:

Liebert PowerSure PSA 500
Hello everyone, Charles suggested (about a week ago) that I repost to
this list. I took a moment to run some additional tests ...
The basics:
-- UPS: Liebert PowerSure PSA 500 (from the 230 VAC / 50 Hz line)
-- Kernel: 2.6.11.5 (from sources), USB support (down to and including
CONFIG_USB_HIDDEV) compiled in statically (not as a module)
-- Rest of OS: Basically still from the original SuSE

Unitek UPS driver/Rewrite of energizerups using libhid
Hello,
I've rewritten the energizer ups to use libhid like tripplite_usb does
and to add support for my Unitek UPS.
This driver needs hotplug scripts to set permission to the nut group
with idVendor : 0x0F03 and idProduct : 0x0001
This is my first _real_ participation in an Open Source project, I hope
I'm doing things the right way.
Any ideas and comments are welcomed.

Unitek ALPHA 1200 Sx USB cable
I've just acquired a Unitek ALPHA 1200 Sx UPS to replace an older serial
UPS that's been working well with NUT for years. Could anyone with a
Unitek tell me what the pinout on the 10P10C plug is so I can make up a
cable? Thanks.

ORVALDI 650/750/900SP.
hi,
i've bought a 750VA orvaldi ups http://en.orvaldi.com/index.php/en/product_catalog/product_view/11/162
which holds my hardware (wifi router, cable modem, quad-core with raid and lcd monitor) for ~15 minutes.
pretty nice result for a cheap (~57 euro) home ups.
in fact, the vendor software for linux is very old (e.g. requires ancient redhat with qt2),
requires db9 port while shipped

Unitek UPS 1250xD - megatec_usb driver
Hi All,
I am a newcomer to Nut, so firstly hello :-)
I am keen to implement Nut and have been digging around most of the
day to see how to get my two Unitek 1250xD UPS devices working.
I have now managed to get nut installed (from source 2.2.0) and have
(I think) success. I found a post here:

Unitek Alpha 500 isx UPS confirmed working with nut 2.2.1-2.1ubuntu7.2
Hi,
Just a quick message to say thanks for this great piece of software.
Is it possible to add the Unitek Alpha 500 isx to the list of working
UPS? I have tried it this afternoon on one of our machines and it is
detected allright using the megatec_usb driver.
It worked on Ubuntu Server "Hardy Heron" 8.04.1 using nut v.
2.2.1-2.1ubuntu7.2
Cheers,
Mathieu
