Many thanks Kaleb.
Your patch did the trick and I did manage to compile, however I get a
Segmentation fault when trying to execute gluster.
I'm using the following options to configure (taken from the glusterfs
3.11.1 port in the FreeBSD port repository):

Tripplite SMX1500XLRT2U through serial
Hello list-
Anyone with Tripplite SMX1500XLRT2U
(http://www.tripplite.com/EN/products/model.cfm?txtModelID=2687)
successfully integrated with NUT through serial port? I'm trying to
connect to SMX1500XLRT2U using serial cable shipped with UPS under
FreeBSD 6.3-STABLE and NUT 2.2.2 installed from ports. Unfortunately,
it looks like it couldn't be recognized.

Split-horizon question
Hello,
NSD 4.7.0 running on FreeBSD 13.X and serving DNSSEC signed zone (say

I've been approached by a customer with the request to include certain
records into mydomain.org zone which will be resolvable only from
their premises.
I'm thinking to setup a pair of unbound instances, ask the customer to
configure conditional forwarding for mydomain.org to those

Cyberpower Value 600E UPS (USB) is not recognized by usbhid-ups under FreeBSD 7.2
Hi,
Have anybody tried Cyberpower Value 600E (USB) under FreeBSD?
usbhid-ups from nut 2.4.1 does not recognize (find) the device on my
machine.

Cannot get Tripplite su2200xla working on freebsd 7.1 nut 2.4.1
All:
I am having a devil of a time getting nut to work on freebsd. Here is what I

checking for libusb in configure.in
Peter,
similar to the OpenSSL test and "with_ssl", can we make the libusb
test in configure.in depend on "with_usb=yes"?
It's not as important as not linking against OpenSSL unless requested,
but it caused a bit of confusion when I was trying to rebuild. I
forgot that "--with-drivers=all" does not imply "--with-usb", and it
was not registering that the

Phantom nulls in usbdevs.h during 9-STABLE kernel build
We are seeing strange problems building the kernel on 9-STABLE. The
problem is intermittent and will go away if we build enough times in a row
without making any changes.
The problem seems to be that the usbdevs.h file (which appears to be
automatically generated) gets random NULL bytes in it.
This occurs on multiple servers with ECC RAM and ZFS filesystems (sometimes

Driver for Realtek RTL8151GH-CG
Does anybody know if NIC Realtek RTL8151GH-CG is supported on FreeBSD
9.2 or 10.0?
It is included in HP ProDesk 490 MT which I may buy, but I cannot find
what hardware parts are supported by FreeBSD and what not.
I am running FreeBSD for about 13 years on servers.
I didn't run it on desktop grade HW for more than 8 years. So any tips
