Samba in Opensuse Leap 42.1
Hi all, I use Samba for production enviroment happily from version I think 4.0.2 and it worked really well. I started on OpenSuse 12.3, than upgraded to 13.1. I installing upgrades nonfrequently, sometimes I recompile samba to newer version. Everything worked fine until some update on Opensuse. Than my servers started freezing (most of it is virtualized on VMWare esxi 5.5). Sometimes happen total

Compiling the latest SVN checkout
Hello, I just checked out the latest version of speex and I want to compile it. The INSTALL file says that's easy: bjoern@deimos:~/studium/beleg/resources/svn/speex$ cat INSTALL Installing Speex is as easy as: % ./configure [--prefix=<install-path>] % make % make install Note that if you are using the code from SVN, you will need to run "autogen.sh" instead of

[PATCH] inspection: Parse os-release "opensuse-leap" as opensuse
I'm afraid I wasn't able to test this patch (except compile testing) so far. Will report back if I'm able to test it against an OpenSUSE 15 image. Rich.

[PATCH] build: support openSUSE Leap 15.0
Support the ID found in openSUSE Leap 15.0 in addition to the other SUSE-related IDs. resolve KDC network address error
Hello Samba-List-Users I have a problem with KDC network name resolution. I tried to google it and sought help on IRC#samba, to no avail. So I'll post my problem here. In the spirit of privacy and normalization all server names in this post are replaced. CAPTIAL server names are actually capitalized in the configuration files. Emiting linkage names for Types to Debuginfo (C++ RTTI support in GDB/LLDB)
To explain to others who didn't follow that thread: GDB currently does something amazingly stupid (and has since i wrote it) to find the RTTI type. There were no other good options at the type. What it does is find the vtable for the object, find the symbol that represents the vtable, demangle it, , chops off "vtable for", and tries to find the symbol for the string that results.
