llvm 5.0.1 requires downstream workaround for diaguids.lib
Greetings, As of LLVM 5.0.1, LLVM generates a dependency on diaguids.lib if it finds DIA SDK available. This is ok, however llvm-config.exe does not expose the path to the library, so it results in these link errors: LLVMDebugInfoPDB.lib(DIASession.obj) : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "long __cdecl NoRegCoCreate(wchar_t const *,struct _GUID const &,struct _GUID const

[LLVMdev] Creating an LLVM backend for a very small stack machine
Hi folks, I am interesting in creating an LLVM backend for a very small stack machine. Before I start in on the actual implementation, I'd like to make sure that I'm on the right track. Any comments, suggestions, warnings, tips, etc would be greatly appreciated. Background ---------- There are a number of small as other embedded microprocessors that are often used in FPGAs such as

[LLVMdev] [RC3] Status on Mingw MSYS
It is good. Two clang tests will fail due to PR8520 and have been fixed in llvm ToT r127724. With 3-stage build, stage-3 binaries are working fine. Bill, thank you to work for release_29! ps. binaries of stage2 and stage3 would not match. [LLVMdev] Creating an LLVM backend for a very small stack machine
Hi Wesley, I've done quite a lot of work on register allocation for stack machines. You might want to look at my papers: http://www.dcs.gla.ac.uk/~marks/euroforth.pdf http://www.dcs.gla.ac.uk/~marks/thesis.pdf Good luck, Mark. -----Original Message----- From: llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu on behalf of Wesley J. Analyzing Publications from Pubmed via XML
I would like to track in which journals articles about a particular disease are being published. Creating a pubmed search is trivial. The search provides data but obviously not as an R dataframe. I can get the search to export the data as an xml feed and the xml package seems to be able to read it. xmlTreeParse("

MinGW problem - unable to compile - config.log
Hi there! I've downloaded the MinGW shell, installed it as descripted in intall.txt, and also the gcc-core-3.4.2-20040916-1 and installed it. Then I've tried running ./configure, but this is what the process returns: Giacomo@NOME-0C20A03AFA /C/tinc-1.0.5 $ ./configure checking for a BSD-compatible install... /bin/install -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for

[LLVMdev] 2.6 pre-release1 ready for testing
LLVMers, 2.6 pre-release1 is ready to be tested by the community. http://llvm.org/prereleases/2.6/ You will notice that we have quite a few pre-compiled binaries (of both clang and llvm-gcc). We have identified several bugs that will be fixed in pre-release2, so please search the bug database before filing a new bug. If you have time, I'd appreciate anyone who can help test the
