Thanks for the link! There’s some code there that looks extremely relevant to say the least. > On 1 Oct 2015, at 19:00, Hayden Livingston <halivingston at gmail.com> wrote: > > Maybe looking at their code might help: > > https://github.com/dotnet/llilc/blob/dd12743f9cdb5418f1c39b2cd756da1e8396a922/lib/Jit/LLILCJit.cpp#L299 > > On Thu, Oct 1, 2015 at 10:45 AM, David

It’s pretty intermittent at the moment…sometimes I get the relocation overflow issue, sometimes I get another issue about BSS sections having no contents. The source code to reproduce either is simple: #include <iostream> int main (int argc, char* argv[]) { } I’ve managed to reproduce the BSS section issue in clang consistently, and since that comes before terms of where it happens in

Oops, sorry for the spam. That last comment was incorrect. It’s IMAGE_REL_AMD64_REL32 not _5 > On 5 Oct 2015, at 17:26, Joshua Gerrard <joshua.gerrard at roli.com> wrote: > > Additional info: when the relocation issue does occur the relocation type is IMAGE_REL_AMD64_REL32_5 > >> On 5 Oct 2015, at 17:16, Joshua Gerrard <joshua.gerrard at roli.com> wrote: >>

That's great news, thanks! If I can be of any help, let me know. :) I'll see if I can reduce the example for the relocation issue whilst you're at it. First of all, thanks very much to Lang for fixing the BSS section bug; works like a charm! I’ve been unable to reproduce the 32 bit relocation on 64 bit code (I’ll let you know if I do). However, I’m still having issues with resolving the 64 bit symbol relocations. In case it’s relevant, the specific symbol my program is tripping up on is IID_IOleObject, where TargetAddress is dereferenced

External function resolution: MCJIT vs ORC JIT
Thanks so much! This seems to do the trick. I would have spun my wheels for a long time before discovering all of this, wow. Do I even want to know what additional chickens need to be sacrificed to get this to work on Windows? -- lg > On May 18, 2016, at 1:52 PM, Lang Hames <lhames at gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi Larry, > > You're basically there, but you're hitting

Hi Larry, Thanks so much! This seems to do the trick. I would have spun my wheels for > a long time before discovering all of this, wow. No worries. :) I'll try to keep this in mind and make sure I address it in future Kaleidoscope tutorial chapters - these issues tripped me up the first time I encountered them too. External function resolution: MCJIT vs ORC JIT
>> llvm::sys::DynamicLibrary::LoadLibraryPermanently(nullptr) This is one is a bit tricky and hard to find. I spent quiet some time digging into MC and ORC JIT execution engines trying to find what makes them work. The problem is that this trick (LoadLibraryPermanently) happens inside of EngineBuilder, despite that the functionality belongs to a JIT engine itself, not to the builder. I

COFF::IMAGE_REL_AMD64_REL32 relocation overflow when compiling for x86_64
Thanks Andy, helpful as always! 1 is a possibility, but not ideal for us. Could you elaborate a little on 3? I don't really know what a jump stub is, but am guessing it's a kind of "alternative symbol" which would just act as a middle man to invoke the "real" symbol in the static library. If that's the case, I can think of a way to implement it for specific

Calling rails from a server-side include?
Hi, 99% of my site is rails, but I have a tiny php section I just cant get rid of (phpbb3). I''ve turned on server-side includes on my site and my phpbb3 template starts with this: <!--#include virtual="/main/header" --> ... The problem is, rails isn''t recognizing that it was called as "/main/header"; I get this error in my development.log:

[GSOC 2014] Some questions about Letor module
Hi, I've read the code of letor module. And I have some questions about it: 1. In https://github.com/rishabhmehrotra/xapian/blob/master/xapian-letor/letor_internal.cc#L299, there is a write_to_file method, which save RankList into ?train.txt?. But the format for ?train.txt? is different from the one mentioned in http://trac.xapian.org/wiki/GSoC2011/LTR/Notes#QueryLevelNorm. And in

COFF::IMAGE_REL_AMD64_REL32 relocation overflow when compiling for x86_64
Some time ago I posted here regarding a relocation overflow on Windows (among other things), but the issue disappeared and so the thread got left. I've started this new thread because a) I didn't want to necro the old one and b) it felt like its own. I've now encountered the issue again and am noting down all the information I can get about it whilst it's happening. The issues is

[LLVMdev] LLVM 3.3 JIT code speed
Hi, Our DSL LLVM IR emitted code (optimized with -O3 kind of IR ==> IR passes) runs slower when executed with the LLVM 3.3 JIT, compared to what we had with LLVM 3.1. What could be the reason? I tried to play with TargetOptions without any success… Here is the kind of code we use to allocate the JIT: EngineBuilder builder(fResult->fModule);

[GSOC 2014] Some questions about Letor module
Thanks for your reply! For the third question: In https://inex.mmci.uni-saarland.de/data/documentcollection.jsp, I can find inex2010-article.qrels in 2010 assessment, but can?t find query files. Could you send me the link? I have registered on INEX website. And I also need to download ``INEX 2009 collection without annotation tags: (unofficial)`` on

Rails + Apache2 + Balancer Manager - PHP doesn't work
Hi I have a Debian Server and I managed that Ruby works with Apache2 and the Balancer Manager that listen to the Mongrel server. The Problem is that PHP files don''t work anymore. How do I have to configurate the Balance Manager that PHP is working again like without the Balance Manager? Greetings Andi -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

[LLVMdev] MCJit interface question
Agreed, that sounds like the best plan. I'll look into moving LLILC to ORC. Thanks -Joseph From: Russell Hadley Sent: Friday, May 29, 2015 8:13 PM To: Lang Hames; Joseph Tremoulet Cc: llvmdev at cs.uiuc.edu Subject: RE: [LLVMdev] MCJit interface question Hey Joseph, What Lang said made me wonder. persp plot
Is there a way to mark specific tick points on x, y and z axes? Also, I'm trying to overlay a persp plot using the command lines(..) but it doesn't appear to work, does anyone know why? I'm also trying to rotate the persp plot using rotation but this doesn't work either? I get the error parameter "rotation" couldn't be set in high-level plot() function does
