[LLVMdev] Compiling via bitcode on Windows

Hello all, Still, is it impossible to use the external llvm custom pass on windows? I can build the 'mypass.dll' on windows using LLVM libraries. Propagation of foreign c++ exceptions (msvc, x64, llvm 3.7.1, MCJIT) through IR code

Folks, We're having some discussions about the behaviour of exception handling and Dwarf sharing unwind logic, tables, etc. and it seems that the code around it wasn't designed with any particular goal in mind, but evolved (like the EHABI) and now we're seeing the results from it. The problems below are assuming C vs. C++, but it actually apply to any possibly-exceptional vs.

Invoke clang options in clang-cl.
Hi there, I'm trying to invoke options in clang-cl. Clang-cl -xclang -fvectorize test.cpp But it shows unknown argument: -fvectorize. I checked options.td and -xclang and -fvectorize options are there. Is there anyway we can change clang to support vector options? How to Switch to Static Runtime and Enable C++ Exceptions?
I would really like to know about how to apply the patch for making MSVC-built LLVM executables lighter. But aside from that, I also want to know what LLVM does to CMake's default setting of /EHsc.
