[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] [Announcement] Call For 3.3 Testers!
Not that I know of but it's definitely something we could use. The basic idea is to use the test-release.sh script that can be found in llvm source tree under utils/release. $ test-release.sh --help usage: test-release.sh -release X.Y -rc NUM [OPTIONS] -release X.Y The release number to test. -rc NUM The pre-release candidate number. -j NUM Number of compile jobs

Hi Mehmet, Thanks for the info. I just contacted DSA (Debian System Admin, I guess), and he said we have to prepare information list on [1] and ask DD to approve it. Are you a DD, or Sylvestre is? Using C++14 code in LLVM
I haven't been following C++14 closely, but from hallway conversations at work it seems like 17 is the bigger win in terms of features. Is it worth waiting for 17 instead? Or, as we will only get a subset of 14 features anyway, just instead take a subset of 17 features? My only worry with 14 is that it's always going to be code churn in terms of using the new features. If they are worth

Questions on converting to ConfBridge
I'm looking at what would be involved in converting from MeetMe to ConfBridge and there seems to be a lot of missing administrative things, but I hope I'm just missing it. We all know about the missing realtime linkage. That's a major nuisance, but can be worked around. More serious is that the CLI command to display users in a ConfBridge don't show the caller ID information, so

[LLVMdev] CUDA front-end (CUDA to LLVM IR)
Hi, I wanted to ask whether there is ongoing effort (or an already established tool) that enables to convert CUDA kernels (that uses CUDA specific intrinsics, e.g., threadId.x, __syncthreads(), ...) to LLVM IR. I am aware that I can do this for OpenCL with the help of libclc but I can not find something similar for CUDA. Thanks -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

[RFC] One or many git repositories?
Hi Justin, Firstly I really appreciate you taking the mantle and pushing this forward! Like Justin B I'll be bowing out after this. I thought it important because I don't believe you'll build consensus in this thread. I think the best that can be hoped for is opposition to give up fighting; advantages are to be had on both sides by different types of user and we've seen that many

Need advice on controller / view
Need some advice. I''ve got two modules: artists and paintings. In my home page, I''ve got a 2nd page that says "Browse paintings", which displays ALL paintings of ALL artists. This is being rendered by paintings#index. In another page, I should show all paintings of a specific artist ONLY. Meaning, paintings from ONE artist. I cant use paintings#index for this anymore

ActiveRecords queries: .where vs .find
I have a dataset, which contains a day column that I would like to retrieve results on. Is there any reason why daily_stats.where(''day = Date(?)'', dte).first returns and empty set, daily_stats.find(:first, :conditions => [''date(day) = ?'', dte]) returns the correct data and daily_stats.where({:created_at => (date.midnight - 1.day)..date.midnight}).first
