[LLVMdev] Proposal: AArch64/ARM64 merge from EuroLLVM
Hi Tim,
I just read this thread and I see that you mentioned the buildbot and my name.

What exactly I can do to help you with the merge process?
Best regards,

[LLVMdev] Some MCJIT XPASS and one FAIL on Linux ARMv7
Hi,
Testing llvm trunk on openSUSE 13.1 ARMv7 I got 4 unexpected passes:
Unexpected Passing Tests (4):

LLVM :: ExecutionEngine/MCJIT/multi-module-sm-pic-a.ll
LLVM :: ExecutionEngine/MCJIT/remote/cross-module-sm-pic-a.ll

[LLVMdev] Some MCJIT XPASS and one FAIL on Linux ARMv7
Hi,
I've got the same 4 unexpected passing tests on the AArch64 buildbot.
I checked the buildbot logs and before these tests started to fail all MCJIT
tests were unsupported.
I think that maybe this commit -
http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project?revision=193459&view=revision
<http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project?revision=193459&view=revision>
caused the issue but I'm still

Euro LLVM videos finally online - proposal to use torrents for sharing
It's no magic, to get good download speed with torrents you need many
seeders or few seeders with high bandwidth.
I'm not sure LLVM videos will attract enough interest for many seeders to
be online... The easy solution would be to have a LLVM channel with all
videos on Youtube which has high qualty CDN.

[LLVMdev] AArch64 Full bot
Hi Gabor,
It seems the linker is playing tricks on the full bot:
http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-native-aarch64-full
Sometimes it works by cleaning the stage2 dir completely, but there
may be some extra bits that we're not considering. However, I can't
see why any of the commits on the first failure did anything to the
relocations on AArhc64...
cheers,

[LLVMdev] AArch64 bot unstable
Hi Gabor,
I noticed that one particular test fails intermittently on the AArch64 bot:
http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-native-aarch64-full
FAIL: Profile:: instrprof-set-filename-then-reset-default.c
Some times on stage1, others on stage2, others no fail at all.
All the commits during these builds are not related to profiling or
AArch64, so I believe this has something to do with the

Questions about code-size optimizations in ARM backend
Hi All,
I started to work on code-size improvements on ARM target by comparing
GCC and LLVM generated code.
My first candidate was switch-case lowering.
I also created a Bugzilla issue for this topic:
https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34902
The full example code and the generated assembly for GCC and for LLVM is
in the Bugzilla issue.
My first idea was to simplify the following

Question about thinLTO
Hello,
My impression on *thinLTO* when I first heard of it, (EuroLLVM2015) was
about achieving Cross Module Optimization (CMO) at the IR level.
Having parallel front-end compilation & initial optimization first, a
thin-link of individual input units, more optimization by calling opt again
on the combined IR, and finally the target codegen using llc.
A transformation similar to the

Implementing SAMBA w/ Automounter
I checked the archives and automounter is only mentioned for home dirs.
Our organization would like to implement SAMBA but we have over 150
mount points. Is there a way we can use automounter maps with
SAMBA?
Having to edit smb.conf each time we add/remove a mount point would be quite
annoying and time consuming.
Cheers,

run scripts on samba server
Hi all,
I have a network with Win95 clients and a samba-server 1.9.18p3 on Linux 2.033. Linux is only used as serversystem, clientusers are nonfamiliar with Linux.
Sometimes it would be usefull, to start a program or script on the server from the client. This can be done via telnet, but I'd like to know if there is some sort of call implemented in samba to start a script on the server

magic-script fine, but how
Hi all,
I want to start a linux-script on a samba-networkserver from a win95-client.
I was kindly advised, to use the parameter magic script in smb.conf.
The listing below shows a share-section of my smb.conf. I tried the same
parameters in the global section as well.
When I open the file:
magic script = /usr/local/samba/netzwerk/magic-linux/script
and type:
/usr/local/bin/transmail

Puppet Masterless on Windows
Hi all,
I have been working on a configuration of a Masterless configuration on
Windows. I am able to get individual jobs to run like:
puppet apply <path to my puppet .pp file>
However, I would like to spin up the Vagrant box off a base VM, and have a
puppet manifest file in a location where puppet knows to look and provision
based off that file. The obvious place seems to be

[LLVMdev] Help needed about setting up an Aarch64 LLVM buildbot
Dear LLVM developers,
My name is Gabor Ballabas. I work for the University of Szeged (Hungary) and
we have an ongoing project with the goal of setting up and maintaining
an LLVM buildbot
for the ARMv8 - alias Aarch64 - architecture. Due to lack of existing
hardware for this
architecture we use ARM's Foundation Model to run the Aarch64 binaries.
