[cfe-dev] Many bots don't build anything -- does anyone know why?

Just FYI, I'm moving the "llvm" directory away and making it as a symlink to "llvm.src", at least until we sort out this problem. Since this has been going on from Sep 1st, I believe we'll

Many bots don't build anything -- does anyone know why?
Hi, many of the bots on http://lab.llvm.org:8011/console don't do anything in their compile phase, even if they should. For example, these bots all don't do anything in their compile phase in any builds, even if they should: http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-x64-ninja-win7/ http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-ppc64be-linux

[LLVMdev] Build bot setup
Hello, I've got a couple spare machines I'd like to enlist in build bot. I'm told that the llvm lab folks are the go-to group. I've got a couple machines prepped, I just need to register their names and passwords (I think). Let me know what else I need to do! [LLVMdev] buildbot failure in LLVM on ppc64le-sanitizer
Hi, My New Year's resolution is to complain (constructively) whenever I get a spurious build failure email from a buildbot. For new or infrequent contributors especially, they can be extremely confusing and unnecessarily alarming. This one below is the first build ever attempted by the builder, so how on earth can it have come up with a meaningful blame list? And in any case, surely we

buildbot failure in LLVM on sanitizer-x86_64-linux-gn
vitalybuka, sanitizer-x86_64-linux-gn is _still_ on http://lab.llvm.org:8011/console . Can we please get it removed? [cfe-dev] Many bots don't build anything -- does anyone know why?
Hi, It seems the problem is that the bot is updating llvm.src, but trying to build from llvm. Galina, it looks like this is related to your recent changes to zorg, you probably missed a spot somewhere and I can't find it on a first glance. Could you have a look? Why is there a public GN buildbot that sends emails and IRC notifications? That isn't what was agreed upon. Either un-GM it, or silence it. Roman. This long running bot failed on a unused variable warning. Given that several other bots cover the warnings, any chance we could get this one configured to not fail the build on warnings? Doing so would make it more likely to actually get to the "sanitizer" part of the testing process. Philip -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: buildbot failure in LLVM on
