[LLVMdev] The LLVMLinux Project
I'd like to announce the LLVMLinux project. This project aims to fully build the Linux kernel using Clang/LLVM on the various architectures supported by the Linux kernel. The project consolidates the work of the lll-project, the PAX team, and Mark Charlebois' work on the ARM kernel. http://llvm.linuxfoundation.org <http://llvm.linuxfoundation.org/> The hope is that this project

bridge + arp
Hi, this is propably bridge related and not really a xen problem, but it might help someone: Some of our domUs are not able to arp. Arp -n show (incomplete), and doing a tcpdump shows, that on the dom0''s eth0 the arp request goes out, the response comes in, but on the vifX.0 interface the arp response is gone. dom0# tcpdump -ni eth0 arp who-has 10.32.2.51 tell 10.32.7.70 arp reply

Address rewriting issue
Hi I have a routing problem with the OpenVPN service running directly on the firewall itself. I have two DSL connections, one with a static IP (and my default route), the other with a dynamic IP. The first is called ISBD in the configs, the second is called SAIX. Connecting to the OpenVPN via ISBD works well, the packets route perfectly. Connecting via SAIX does not. In the attached status.txt,

[LLVMdev] Build problem with gcc-4.3.2
Hi, on http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#requirements you say you want to know about problems compiling llvm with gcc. I just tried compiling llvm and clang, using ./configure; make, and I got the following error, llvm[2]: Compiling StrongPHIElimination.cpp for Debug build StrongPHIElimination.cpp:1051: internal compiler error: in value_format, at dwarf2out.c:7218 Please submit a

CONNMARK target and connmark match support in Ubuntu kernel
Hi, as per the shorewall MultiISP documentation ( http://www1.shorewall.net/MultiISP.html ), it says "Use of this feature requires that your kernel and iptables include CONNMARK target and connmark match support (Warning: Standard Debian™ and Ubuntu™ kernels are lacking that support!)." it means MultiISP wont work properly if i am using Ubuntu server. if yes whats the

worldmap_region/country problem
Dear R community, I'm trying to graphically illustrate my data with a worlmap. Unfortunately, my data is partly on country basis and partly on regional basis (e.g. certain African countries are aggregated to one region). I am using the package rwoldmap. The data on country basis can be mapped, but our defined regions cannot be identified in R. Therefore, all the countries in these

Inclusion of a countdown tool of remaining calculation time possible?
Dear All, We are currently working with very large datasets which even in R require a lot of calculation time. Is there an option of including a function/ tool or something alike which shows the remaining time of calculation? Just to see whether there is any progress or whether anything has crashed and to get a feeling whether we have to wait for 5 min or 30min... Any help is greatly

Options to extend memory limit
Dear All, at the moment I am using R for calculations of large databases. Unfortunately, R only manages to complete certain operations at some times, and not at others. I usually get the error message "cannot allocate vector of size XX" I am using the 64-bit version with Windows 7. While my computer has 8 RAM, I do have a feeling that R cannot use all of it. Searching online, I

[LLVMdev] Use perf tool for more accurate time measuring on Linux
Hi all, The LLVM benchmarking system produces very noisy results even on quiet machines. One of the sources of inaccuracy is the timing tool we are using. Because it is a user-space tool, the OS can context switch it and we will get an outlier result. Perf stat uses SW_TASK_CLOCK counter in kernel to measure time, therefore more accurate. It also does not get context switched. I've

SMS Capabilities
Hello Everyone, We have an order for SMS messaging. Can you gents and ladies be kind enough to disclose if SMS is possible using Asterisk? What is a quick way to test a `Hello World` to my cell. Finally, do all service providers support SMS messaging? Kind Regards, Jayson. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
