[LLVMdev] Heads up! Planning to remove old vector shuffle lowering this week...
I'll be skimming the PRs to see if there are any really critical regressions, but so far it looks pretty good. If you are actively disabling the new vector shuffling and have some PR that blocks you, please reply here. Later this week, the flag will go away unless I hear strenuous objections. There is a really staggering amount of cleanup and tidying that needs to take place and can't

Bash-Completion for samba-tool
Hey list, arriving home from SambaXP, it was really nice. That darth vader cake was super sweet :-) Hearing some people talking about how much they'd like bash completion for `samba-tool`, I've put together an ugly script that does that. It's a very dumb script (I'm boldly calling it script), but it might make someones day a little bit easier.

ANNOUNCEMENT: centos-release-xen switching to 4.6 later this week
In preparation for XSA-172, due to be made public next week (29 March), as discussed previously, I'm going to be updating the centos-release-xen package to point to Xen 4.6 rather than 4.4. As a reminder, you can "pin" your installation to Xen 4.4 by installing centos-release-xen-44 and then removing centos-release-xen. Also, I will not be applying any more patches to the Xen 4.4

ANNOUNCE: centos-release-xen switching to 4.8 next week
Hi Thanks for providing updated Packages, they are much appreciated. At work, we are currently running an entire production infrastructure on Xen4CentOS, with quite some success. We are looking into a refresh towards CentOS 7 along with newer Xen and Dom0 Kernel packages. However, even the updated packages are quite old. Xen 4.8 is out of active support since June and will see the end of

[LLVMdev] Heads up: rewrite of CompilerRT's CMake build system
Hello folks! I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this. I spoke with Doug about this about a month ago and he told me to charge boldly forward, so the commits will be flying RSN. Essentially, the compiler-rt CMake build system is largely non-functional. Major portions are just commented out, I couldn't get it to actually build anything. Daniel has mostly been maintaining and

problem with -u option
This is my first attempt at using rsync, and I think I basically have it figured out, except that something is awry with updating. My situation is that I have a desktop in another city that I will use once a week or so when I am there. I have a local computer that most work gets done on. I wanted to set rsync to run nightly with a cron job to sync data, and then promptly run again in the other

[LLVMdev] Methods on addrspace pointers
I’ve been developing an optimization pass that uses the address space attribute (__attribute__((address_space(200))) to indicate different kinds of pointers to be treated differently (I’m making them be pointers to a “global” address space as in UPC). However, I’ve hit a snag in the frontend code generator: if I try to make a method call on a pointer with a custom address space, the frontend

Fedora Core 4 rpms
Hi, I have been waiting patiently for the Fedora Core 4 rpms. I have noticed that all of the other distros have wine-9.4, but Fedora/RedHat, the most used Linux distro of all, is still at wine-9.2 and has always been lagging for eons in the past. What gives? -- kwhiskers{ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Is this list still active?
I haven't seen traffic here in eons.. Could someone help me with SWAT? Based on the permissions given when connecting to SWAT, and by the passwords screen, it *looks* like one can give someone (other than root) access to modify samba shares through SWAT. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? SWAT's documentation is very poor.... Regards, Will

[LLVMdev] Intended semantics for ``fence seq_cst``
Hi, TL;DR: should we add a new memory ordering to fences? ``fence seq_cst`` is currently use to represent two things: - GCC-style builtin ``__sync_synchronize()`` [0][1]. - C11/C++11's sequentially-consistent thread fence ``std::atomic_thread_fence(std::memory_order_seq_cst)`` [2]. As far as I understand: - The former orders all memory and emits an actual fence instruction. - The

Parallel dialoog with different Alert-Info headers
We have a couple of parallel ring settings (and this has worked well for eons). Either in the form of same => n,Dial(SIP/1001 & SIP/1002 & SIP/1003 …..) Or via a subroutine (below) that has a bit of extra logic: FOO = 1010 & 1019 & 1017 & 1033 ... same => n,gosub(sub-callout,s,1,(${FOO},”Ringing all class FOO telefons")) Now I have two types of phones
