[LLVMdev] Can't compile compiler-rt, asan error
It looks like it:
[/Volumes/Files/yuchen_wu/dev/llvm/build]$ xcrun --show-sdk-path --sdk iphonesimulator
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator7.0.sdk

[LLVMdev] Can't compile compiler-rt, asan error
Do you have the iossim sdk installed on your machine (check by 'xcrun
--show-sdk-path --sdk iphonesimulator')?
If the answer is yes and you're testing on ToT, that's a bug. I'll take a
look.

Also, which version of OSX you're running?

I'm running Mavericks. I'll attach the make log once it's done.

[LLVMdev] Transitioning build to cmake
I recently took a stab at changing the MacPorts llvm-3.4 port from the configure-based build system to the cmake-based build system.
There are a couple of issues that I still haven't been able to work out yet and would like to know if these are just configuration issues on my side or bugs I should file at bugs.llvm.org:
1) libclang_rt
It looks like the cmake build is missing some runtime

I tracked down the error. There’s an ifneq check for IOSSIM_SDK_PATH before it’s defined.
$ grep -n IOSSIM_SDK_PATH projects/compiler-rt/make/platform/clang_darwin.mk
91:ifneq ($(IOSSIM_SDK_PATH),)

[LLVMdev] Clang 3.5 Release Pre-Pre-Pre-Announcement
Bill,
I have the openmp support in llvm 3.5svn now built on 10.7 using Xcode
4.6.3 and 10.8/10.9 using 5.1.1. The 10.7 build required the hack…
perl -pi -e 's|list\(APPEND SANITIZER_COMMON_SUPPORTED_DARWIN_OS
iossim\)||g' projects/compiler-rt/CMakeLists.txt
to suppress building libclang_rt.asan_iossim_dynamic.dylib. The compiler-rt
build now expects the iPhoneSimulator7.0.0.sdk but

[LLVMdev] use of undeclared identifier '__NR_*' error while building clang
Hi guys,
I am following this[1] tutorial to install clang. However, I have made a
small change in the configure command, and I am running it with
'--enable-optimized' option to avoid the debug build.
I am getting the errors (given at the end) related to *undeclared
identifiers '__NR_*'*. Can someone please provide some input about how to
tackle this issue?
On my other machine, I

[LLVMdev] Cross-compiling llvm/clang osx -> win32
Hi,
I'm trying to compile llvm/clang so that: it is compiled on osx 10.6, it runs on osx, but it outputs win32 objects.
More exactly, I'm building an app which generates a .c file that doesn't include or link with anything, and I'd like to be able to make a win32 .dll of it on osx.
Below is what I'm getting. Full log is here:

[LLVMdev] Clang 3.5 Release Pre-Pre-Pre-Announcement
Bill,
Are there any plans to integrate the new openmp support into the
llvm/clang 3.5 build process? I have been able to build the current
llvm/clang/compiler-rt/openmp svn on Mac OS X 10.9 out of tree with…
pushd projects/openmp/runtime
make compiler=clang
popd
and then
OPENMP_DIR=`ls projects/openmp/runtime/tmp | grep dyn`
pushd

[LLVMdev] Compiler-RT on Buildbots
Folks,
I realised there's a "checkout_compiler_rt" option on ClangBuilder,
which does checkout the sources, but couldn't build them on ARM. I
also don't build them during releases (yet) because the configure
script doesn't prepare the Makefiles for compiler-rt.
A while ago I got it running on ARM with CMake files, but since these
are buildbots, I'm not sure

Hi Duncan,
I came across something like the following recently which I guess might be
related to your recent work. Any ideas?
