Winlink Airmail Help
Hello All.
I was running Winlink Airmail fine for several months. Somewhere between up grading Wine and Xubuntu I lost the ability to see what I was typing when writing a new e-mail. The text is there but it cannot be seen. If I miss spell and use the spell checker it will appear. When the spell checker is finished the printing disappears again. This is a built-in spell checker in Airmail.

Installing wine rpm - failed dependencies??
I am running SuSE 8.0 (waiting for 9.2). I have a windows application I wanted to run using wine. It ran fairly well then locked up on the old wine release that came with SuSE 8.0. Thought I should get the latest wine so downloaded the current wine for Suse 8.0 from winehq.com. I first ran Yast and removed the presently installed wine. I put the new rpm in /root and logged in as root then

Three simple problems with wine under SuSe 9.3
I have three problems with wine. Wine set up a pseudo windows directory system under my home directory/wine. My application resides in the created 'Program Files' directory and a necessary file placed in the windows/system directory.
1. If I click on the exe and run with wine it works without error. However I seem unable to set up a path to the exe as in 'wine "drive_c/Program

NAT/MASQ with multiple external static IPs
Hello everyone,
really not sure if this is a LARTC question or not, but I have several
hundred users all MASQ''d behind a single static IP. Users are reporting
that certain websites are blacklisting that single static external IP
for various reasons.
What I would like to do is use several external IP''s and have a MASQ''d
user getting a random one each time.

Consolidating error_messages_for for multiple objects
Hi there
I have a form that saves a user and an address, which are seperate objects.
A user has_many addresses.
How to display error messages for the adddress object which gets saved
via the same html form?
I''m getting all my validation errors for the user object, but no
detailed messages for the address object despite putting
error_messages_for :address in my view.

consolidating the NUT documentation on permissions, hotplug and udev
Arnaud et al,
I have been meaning to collect some of the documentation updates for
permission-related errors, and I was wondering if you would mind if we
moved the scripts/udev/README and scripts/hotplug/README files out of
scripts/ and into the docs/ directory (probably docs/permissions.txt).
We could also cover the *BSD /dev/usb* permission issues there, as
well.
Any thoughts on this?

Re: Three simple problems
I now have my three com ports woking: com1 with symbolic link to ttyS1, com2 to ttyUSB0 and com3 to ttyUSB1. To get them to work I had to change permissions to the devices in /dev.
I had to make sure that everything in my windows application was set to owner richard and group users so I could get everything working without being su.
I can now carry out my comms via an HF radio link using

Speeding up wine emulation- benchmarking?
I will have to replace the ageing Pentium 3 at 1 Ghz system here fairly soon. I am looking at dual core processors amongst other things. Firstly can someone recommend a (windows) benchmarking program that I can run under wine. Also
can they give me some idea of the results to expect if I run alternative processors and how much dual core affects wine.
Thanks
Richard
