[LLVMdev] [PATCH] OS X - BugpointPasses and LLVMHello have extension ".so" when using CMake
For a while now I have noticed that when I build LLVM using CMake on my OS X machine there are two dynamically linked libraries, BugpointPasses and LLVMHello, that are built with the extension ".so" instead of the extension ".dylib". This has been causing four test cases to fail when running "make check". The attached patch modifies add_llvm_loadable_module in the

smbldap-tools, setting password on command line?
Hi, the smbldap tools are a great thing to have, thanks a lot! I just wonder if it would be possible to set a password via the command line, like: smbldap-passwd.pl testuser1 not24get I have to create accounts for several hundreds people every year and give them an immutable password. So long I do that with smbpasswd, ldappasswd and a tiny script around these tools. I tried smbldap-passwd.pl

[LLVMdev] [3.4 branch] PPC64 regressions
İsmai, Thanks for testing these. Can you please file a bug report (and CC me on it), and attach the full output of these failing tests? (When the test fails you should see the full command -- rerun it without piping the output into FileCheck). [LLVMdev] Why does cmake use LLVMBuild.txt to specify the LLVM-libs link order?
Hi, I've been working on a set of patches to statically link polly in the LLVM tools. There remains an error I can't seem to solve when linking llvm-lto (all other tools luckily get linked correctly): it insists adding libLLVMipo.a after libLLVMPolly.a on the link command, resulting in an error of the form: PassManagerBuilder.cpp:(.text+0x499): undefined reference to

[LLVMdev] llvm trunk build failed in cmake_install.cmake on ARM platform
We try to change cmake's behaviour so that it uses $ORIGIN in the rpath, making the binaries relocatable. That might be falling in here for some reason. FYI: Ninja-build user may use CMake-3.9
This is useful for developer who uses multicore builder. https://cmake.org/cmake/help/v3.9/release/3.9.html#other-changes - The Ninja <https://cmake.org/cmake/help/v3.9/generator/Ninja.html#generator:Ninja> generator has loosened the dependencies of object compilation. Object compilation now depends only on custom targets and custom commands associated with libraries on

custom LLVM Pass with options fails to load
Hi Philip, thanks for the quick answer. That makes sense, but when leaving the set LLVM_LINK_COMPONENTS out I get an undefined symbol when loading the plugin: _ZTVN4llvm2cl3optINSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEELb0ENS0_6parserIS7_EEEE which boils down to llvm::cl::opt<std::__cxx11::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char>>,
