Cambridge LLVM Social, Sep 6th
The next Cambridge Social will be pushed a bit further into September,
because of the holidays and the LLVM Cauldron. It'd be nice to welcome
international LLVMers on the cauldron week.
But that also forces the day of the week to be on a Tuesday. With the
Cauldron in Hebden Bridge, people will be traveling on Wednesday
evening and there would be no point in holding the social then.
So, the

(short notice) Cambridge LLVM Social tomorrow (Wednesday)
Hello various people,
A few LLVM folk are in town for the ARM researchers gathering towards the end of the week and we discussed briefly the idea of having a small pub outing for them this week.
It looks as if Wednesday is the best day, so let’s aim to go back to the Fort St George[1]. The weather is supposed to be warm again this week (though I’m sure Renato will strive to organise rain for

The Boathouse is nice - on the river and with reasonable beer and food. The Old Spring is also quite nice, has big tables outside, and is usually quite quiet midweek.

Just cycled past The Fort. It's very busy because there's a fair on the common. Any plan B in case it's still full later?

Just a reminder, the Cambridge social is today. The weather is lovely, so
we'll be outside by the river.

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social next week
Hi folks,
Next Wednesday, 19th June, we'll be on Fort St. George, at 7:30pm
http://gkpubs.co.uk/pubs-in-cambridge/fort-st-george-pub/
Weather permitting, there's a very nice beer garden and a good selection of
beers.
During this lame summer, we'll probably be repeating the same pub in hope
the shy sun will come out, so the next one, on the 17th of July (it's in
the calendar),

I'm open to suggestions, but I don't want people to get lost because we
can't fix on a pub... It almost happened

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social Today!
Hi folks,
The Cambridge social is today, and with this weather, we'll be at the fort
st. George, hoping that there are no fairs outside to compromise our beer
enjoyment programme.
See you at the George around 7:30!
Cheers,
Renato

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social + Beer Festival
Dear folks,
Next week will be the famous Cambridge Beer Festival, and since beer has
everything to do with compilers, we'll hold the the next LLVM Social there,
trying to find the blood alcohol concentration of 0.1337% to achieve
super-human programming abilities.

Some of use will be there all week, or so I heard, but most of us will be

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social this week
Hi all,
In sync with Paris meetup, the Cambridge version will also be this
week, on Wednesday (26th Sep., 7:30pm) at the Cambridge Blue:
http://www.the-cambridgeblue.co.uk/blueroadmap.html
I hope we can get the same attendance as last time, since it won't
stop raining until February. I'll try to arrive earlier and get a big
indoor table.
If you haven't done so yet, you can

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social on the 16th Jan
Hi all,
Happy New Year and all that, we're ready to get social again. Next
Cambridge event will be on the 16th of January, at the same bat-time
(7:30pm) and back to the Blue, to give London folks a chance to come.
We want to rotate to other pubs, so we welcome your suggestions for
February. I'll send an email reminder closer to the event.

[LLVMdev] XMas Cambridge LLVM Social
Hi guys,
We're doing a special XMas social next week (12th Dec), same time,
same pub (Tivoli) and same time. Why special? No idea, just because
it's December.
Anyway, not many people will come, we know, but we're going to go
anyway, since the beer is cheap and we have nothing better to do on a
Wednesday evening. Oh, and folks have discounts on beer, to make them
even cheaper.

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social - Christmas edition
Hi Folks,
It took us a while, but we're doing the social a bit late this month.
I understand that many would be on holidays already, but we didn't
have much choice.
As usual, the LLVM Socials' calendar shows the time and place:
https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=as5fh066i94qthrkct1lv7rojo%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=Europe/London

Function that is giving me a headache- any help appreciated (automatic read )
note: whole function is below- I am sure I am doing something silly.
when I use it like USGS(input="precipitation") it is choking on the
precip.1 <- subset(DF, precipitation!="NA")
b <- ddply(precip.1$precipitation, .(precip.1$gauge_name), cumsum)
DF.precip <- precip.1
DF.precip$precipitation <- b$.data
part, but runs fine outside of the function:

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social
Hello again LLVM people in Cambridge (or London, or places similarly easily accessible on the train),
We plan on holding the next Cambridge LLVM social on Wednesday the 20th of June, from 7:30pm onwards, in The Cambridge Blue:
http://www.the-cambridgeblue.co.uk/blueroadmap.html
The pub does food as well as beer, so at least some of us will be eating there.
I hope to see you there,
David

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social
Hello any LLVM people in or near Cambridge (the original one, not the knock-off in Massachusetts),
Chandler's closing speech at EuroLLVM indicated that LLVM developers on this side of the pond don't spend as much time in the pub as our Californian counterparts and that this was an important thing to address.
To address this, I propose that we start a regular Cambridge LLVM social. The
